Topic: ENGAGING THE GREAT PHYSICIAN
Text: Jeremiah 32:27, Luke 4:18–19.

As the “Total Healing” series starts today, any healing that is needed in the body, soul, and spirit will manifest mightily, in the name of Jesus.

Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV): “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”

It does not matter what anyone is saying, which name it was described with, what has been happening, or what characteristic has been given to that thing.

One of the names of the Lord that is beyond controversy is “The Great Physician.” In Luke 4:18, we begin to see why He is the Great Physician:

Luke 4:18–19 (KJV) says: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Jesus is the Great Physician because He has been sent:

1. To preach the gospel to the poor.
2. To heal the brokenhearted.
3. To preach deliverance to the captives.
4. For the recovery of sight for the blind.
5. To set at liberty those who are bruised and oppressed.
6. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

I know there is somebody here tonight: you shall receive the visitation of the Great Physician, and your life will not remain the same, in the name of Jesus.

Everything that is present on this physical planet has a spiritual counterpart. The body can be sick. The spirit can be sick. The soul can be sick. Finances can be sick. Business can be sick. Marriage can be sick. Many things can be sick.

But there is someone known as the Great Physician who does not see any problem with all those sick things.

This is why I decree upon the life of somebody here today:
You shall experience the Great Physician! You shall experience divine intervention! The Lord will address every source of your sorrow in the name of Jesus.

The miracle that converted one surgeon to an MFM member was because he himself removed the womb of a woman due to cancer of the womb she had. To save her life, he took out the womb, meaning that there was no way the sister would get pregnant. But the pregnancy of that sister and the child that was born were what converted that surgeon. What happened to that woman? She encountered the Great Physician.

WHY IS JESUS CALLED THE GREAT PHYSICIAN?

1. He never sends anybody away unhealed if you approach Him. The lepers approached Him and said, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make us whole.” He said, “I will,” and He made them whole.
2. Jesus heals immediately with a Word. A word is enough.
3. He healed all who came to Him.
4. He heals permanently.
5. He heals without charge. You do not have to pay for His divine surgery.
6. He heals without medicine or operation.
7. He heals emotional diseases. That is why you read in Luke 4:18: “He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted.”

I am praying for anyone here tonight: If the enemy has given you the garment of heaviness, the garment of a broken heart, receive your healing in the name of Jesus.

8. He heals physical diseases, which is what most of us understand. But even the physical diseases are not the worst.
9. He heals spiritual diseases.
   There are people who are blind in the spirit. That is, they are suffering from unbelief. They cannot see the truth. The enemy has blinded their minds. They doubt the Word of God. There is only one hope for such people. It is to cry like Blind Bartimaeus: “Lord, I want to receive my sight.” The Bible says, “In whom the gods of this world have blinded the minds of some people; seeing they will see, but they cannot behold; hearing they will hear, but they cannot understand.” Only the Great Physician can heal such people.

There are those who are deaf and dumb in spirit. They never hear the Shepherd’s voice. The Bible says, “I know my sheep, and my sheep hear my voice.” These ones are totally and completely deaf and are heading towards destruction. Such a person could be going about with a man she is not married to yet who drinks, smokes, fights, threatens her with a knife, has slapped her several times, and her parents keep saying to her, “This is not good; do not marry this man,” but because she is deaf and dumb in the spirit, she will not listen.

It is a spiritual disease for somebody to be told the truth, but he refuses to listen. You go to a man, you abort for him the first, second, and third time, and you keep going back there, not knowing that in heaven, you only have an allocation of three children, and you have dashed them out. Somebody was saying, “This man is not serious with you,” but you are deaf and dumb in the spirit.

Many men, too, are like Samson, deaf and dumb in the spirit. A woman came to you and said, “Show me the source of your power, that I might afflict you,” and you sat down there. Only the Lord can say to you, “Ephatha!” so you can hear in the spirit.

There are those who are lame in spirit. They just cannot walk in God’s ways. No matter what you tell them, they do not want to walk in God’s ways. If you put positive and negative before then, they dance towards the negative.

It was in Europe that I followed one of my bishop friends to the prison yard for the first time to pray for the prisoners. My friend used to go there regularly to minister. So when we got to the gate, they asked us, “What are you?” “We are preachers of the gospel,” we replied. They said, “Okay. Sign that you are preachers.” We did.

As we were moving in, a man was also coming in with a black hat, black spectacles, a black shirt, black trousers, and black shoes, and they asked him what he wanted. He said he too had come to minister to the prisoners, and they asked him what he was. He replied, “I am a wizard.” They said, “Sign that you are a wizard.” So they released both the gospel preachers and the wizard together to the prisoners. My friend went to where he used to minister to them. Some prisoners gathered before him, and he was talking to them.

Out of curiosity about what the other man was teaching, I slipped away from where my friend was and went to where the other man was. This man was talking to them, and his crowd was triple that of my friend. So I thought to myself, “Let me hear what he is saying.” He was saying, “You are in prison here, but I am going to teach you how to get out of your body at night, go around, enjoy yourself, and come back to your body again’. The prisoners there were very interested.

But the truth is this: it is because they were lame in the spirit that they entered the prison, and it is because they were even more lame in the spirit that they were listening to that man.

No matter where they roam, they will still come back to their bodies inside the same prison. So, there are people lame in the spirit. Their legs are not equal. They cannot walk in the newness of life. There are many such people in the house of God. They may be pastors, ushers, choristers, or hold any other position.

Every position in the house of God is just a label on a bottle. When the day of judgement comes, all labels shall be removed, and the question to everybody is the same: “What did you do with Jesus?”

There are lepers in the spirit. They are unclean because of sin. Their whole body and nature are defiled and corrupt. Their thoughts are very impure. Only the Great Physician can say to such people, “I will, be thou clean.”

There are people who are crooked and withered in spirit. They have been paralysed by the enemy. They are useless in God’s service. Only the Great Physician can say to them, “Arise and walk!” When the legs of a man have been broken in the spirit, you will see your enemy and call him a friend.

You will see your friend and call him an enemy. The enemy runs after you in your dream. You run, they run, you fly, they fly. You wake up panting from your dreams because they are running after you, since your legs are crooked and withered and have no strength in them.

There are those with fever and issues of blood in the spirit realm. One day they are cold, and one day they are hot, like somebody with malaria. And the Lord hates such people with perfect hatred.

He said, “Look, I wish that thou wert either hot or cold. But because you are neither hot nor cold, but art lukewarm; I will spew you out of my mouth.”

So those with fever and issues of blood in the spirit realm who keep losing strength are sinning without any bus stop. Unless the Great Physician rebukes that fever, the person is finished.

There are those who are demon-possessed. Due to that, there are many things in their lives that they cannot control. A driver is driving them, and this is a very serious matter that we need to understand. In 1995, one woman dragged her son here. He was a young man of 21 who, she said, was always screaming, “My manhood is paining me” every night. One day, she forced him to show her what was paining him. She saw that his manhood was full of sores.

Beloveth, do you know that even though his manhood was full of sores, every night he still went to prostitutes? He was groaning in pain but still frequenting prostitutes. He was possessed and bewitched.

There are those who are dead in their trespasses and sins. The only person who can heal them is the Great Physician.

10. He heals generational diseases. Diseases transferred from grandfather to father and then to son; like father, like son problems, like mother, like daughter problems. He is the Only One who can heal such situations.

I am praying for somebody here; any generational infirmity, any generational pattern that anyone here is battling with, with a sevenfold amen, we kill them tonight, in the name of Jesus.

11. He can heal financial diseases. The greatest financial disease that many people have is what the Bible calls ‘pocket-with-holes’. That spirit is not something you can see physically, but it exists. It is a spirit of basket life—get and lose—pouring water into a bucket and pouring it into a basket. Of course, the basket will not hold the water.

I am praying for somebody here: if the enemy has fired the arrow of pocket-with-holes into your life, with a seven fold amen, let the arrow backfire, in the name of Jesus.

12. He heals career diseases. Once you see somebody who is using their short life to do trial and error, then you know the person is sick. Something is wrong somewhere, and it is a very serious problem. Those of us in academics know that there are professors. You see some professors at the university with plenty of money in their hands due to research work, projects, and other things they are handling.

Then you see some other professors whose cars are so terrible that they have to be pushed every morning. It is a career disease that needs to be healed. You have a certificate that you cannot work with. You have a Master’s certificate, and you are told you have to work with your Ordinary Level Certificate, and so they downgrade you, and you are there smiling. It is not something to look at and smile about.

I am praying for anyone here: if witchcraft powers have urinated on your certificate and they have bewitched it, with a seven-fold amen, I remove their hand from your life, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS.

Confession: Isaiah 53:5: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

1. Every organ of my body, cooperate with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
2. Revival power, resurrection power, rejuvenating power, come upon every organ of my body, in the name of Jesus.
3. Any organ of my body that has lost its function, resume your functions now, in the name of Jesus.
4. Blood of Jesus, speak life into my head, my heart, my liver, my kidney, my bladder, my womb, etc., in the name of Jesus.
5. I reject every evil clinical prophecy, in the name of Jesus.
6. I pull down every satanic bewitchment upon any organ of my body, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every pronouncement of man about my health that is contrary to my life, I cancel it by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
8. By the word of God, through which all things were created, O Lord, let my life experience divine power now, in the name of Jesus.
9. Holy Ghost fire, renew my strength, in the name of Jesus.
10. Blood of Jesus, renew my strength, in the name of Jesus.
11. I lose myself from every satanic bondage, in the name of Jesus.
12. I cancel the power of all curses upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
13. I close any door that I have opened against my health, in the name of Jesus.
14. I bind the strong man over my health, in the name of Jesus.
15. The armour of the strong man assigned against my health, be roasted in the name of Jesus.
16. All curses issued against my health, break in the name of Jesus.
17. My Father, make me a mysterious wonder, in the name of Jesus.
18. Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Arise and reorganise my organ for uncommon testimonies, in the name of Jesus.
19. Every power speaking death and malfunctioning into any organ of my body, die, in the name of Jesus.
20. I receive fresh energy, fresh fire, fresh power into every organ of my body, in the name of Jesus.
21. Father, dispatch Your heavenly surgeons to work upon my life and make the impossible possible, in the name of Jesus.

1. (Lay your hand on your head) Resurrection power of the Lord Jesus Christ, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every evil bird assigned to swallow my joy, die in the name of Jesus.
3. Blessing attackers, blessing hijackers, you are liars; die in the name of Jesus.
4. Witchcraft bullets, fired into my life, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
5. Garment of “sorry, I cannot help you,” catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
6. Mighty One in battle, Jesus Christ: show yourself as my God, in the name of Jesus.
7. Any poison I had eaten when I was a child, come out in the name of Jesus.
8. Heavens over my breakthroughs, open by fire, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).
