Topic: THE SECRET ROOTS OF INFIRMITY
Text: Psalms 18:45, Proverbs 14:30, 2 Chronicles 21:14, Deuteronomy 28:1, 15, 21–29, 34–35.

Listen very carefully for today’s session of our total healing services, and remember that I have shared with you before that healing is not only physical. It can be spiritual, emotional, career-wise, breakthrough-wise, or marriage-wise. When we say ‘total healing’, we mean ‘total healing’ in all aspects. Do well to listen to today’s message carefully, which has involved years of spiritual research.

Psalms 18:45 (KJV) says: “The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.”

What a deep scripture! ‘Strangers’ mean that they are not supposed to be there. That place does not belong to them. It is not their habitation.

For example, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It does not belong to infirmity or demons. All those things that God did not plant there, that are there; no matter with which names they are described, the scripture has only one name for all of them. The doctors may call them all kinds of names. Anyone may give it any kind of name, but the scripture has only one name for them.

It says, “Every tree not planted by the Father…” Because they are not planted by the Father in your life, in my life, their presence there makes them strangers. It says, “They shall fade away…” meaning that they will be scared; they will be terrified “….out of their close places”. The phrase “close places” is very revealing. It means stronghold.

A stronghold is a place that is difficult to attack and easy to defend. It means “fortresses,” or better put, “hideout”. They do not want you to know they are there. It means:

• their fortifications, where they are fortifying themselves.
• their defensive structures.
• a place very difficult to access.

So do you now see why prayer is a serious business? Because now something has been hidden, and it does not want you to know that it is there. So you are bombarding the place with fire, and because they do not want you to detect their presence, they try to cope with the fire, hoping that you will not bombard them for too long so that they can have their peace. But when somebody now refuses to stop because you have read the part of the Bible that says “Pray without ceasing,” then they have no option but to come out of their hiding places.

● I am praying for somebody here tonight: any stranger, anything that the Father has not planted, that is hiding in any life, consciously or unconsciously, with a tenfold amen, let the strangers come out of their hiding places, in the name of Jesus.

That is why sometimes, when prayer gets to a level, when they are challenged and they have to leave, people begin to vomit and cough out things. The Bible says, “The strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places”.

● The strangers in the head, in the eyes, in the backbone, in the intestine, in the womb, and in the legs fade away, in the name of Jesus.

Listen, beloveth: the Bible is the only book with answers to man’s problems. God has stored all the things we need for prosperous and happy lives in His word.

But listen: carefully hidden behind the multitude of minor to severe ailments and infirmities lie spiritual forces. There is something in the spirit realm called “the spirits behind”. They are carefully behind. These hidden forces constantly steal, kill, and destroy. They feed the hospitals and mortuaries. And the major reason for their success is found in one thing: monumental or abysmal ignorance of the Word of God.

Meaning that your problem is not your problem. Your problem is ignorance about the ability and power of God to save and deliver to the uttermost and access to secrets that will allow you to operate. In addition to this ignorance, we open doors to them and give them legal grounds for attacks. Our fierce and wicked adversaries will not miss any opportunity to strike. So it is not God’s fault if we fail to apply our hearts to wisdom, which will prevent them from doing them. Medical doctors can prescribe, care for, treat symptoms, and point out what has gone wrong in the body, whether malfunctions, imbalances, or infections.

But listen to this important truth, which I do not want you to miss: operating behind a carefully constructed sea of symptoms are evil spirits that cause malfunctions and upset physical and emotional balances that God has put in place. The Bible says, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”.

The way God constructed the body is fearful and wonderful, and things have to remain in balance. You need vitamins, but you should not use overdose. If you are given drugs, you should not overdose because they are already balanced. There is a level of sugar your body requires. Once you shift that balance, trouble comes.

But behind all these secrets of infirmities operating behind the scenes that you cannot see, which x-ray cannot see, which scan cannot see, which lab tests cannot see, are evil spirits hiding there and causing issues, making the balances shift, or pushing you into activities that shift the balances. They know that there are certain things you should not take, and they make you take them. The beautiful thing, though, is that prayer demobilises them. Let me tell you the honest truth: when prayer gets to a certain level, no matter what the doctors are saying, the demons are scared. But the problem is that sometimes we do not pray those prayers for too long.

So the ones you are bombarding just stay quiet and try to survive the fire, hoping that you will soon keep quiet.

Sometimes, there is a period of healing, followed by a return of sickness. In this case, what happened? The demons staged a comeback either by re-entering or reviving their powers if those powers were not originally removed. I am going to pray one prayer. For those who love themselves, I want you to say seven loud “Amen.” Do not say, “It does not concern me.” I am going to shout my own “Amen” too, because it is a very serious matter.

● I decree upon your life that any sickness that stopped your parents and wants to stop you, they are dead now, in the name of Jesus. (Another sevenfold Amen).

Now listen: many of the sicknesses and infirmities that people go through—certain behaviours, characters, happenings, and sins—may create them. And this is where the research comes in. There will be no time tonight to share all these scriptures. For example, shame and embarrassment may cause tooth decay, diseases of the bone marrow, cancer of the bones, and all kinds of sicknesses of the bones. The prayers of tonight are war prayers to uproot both cryptic and non-cryptic strangers.

Proverbs 14:30 (KJV) says: “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.”

So when your heart is sound, it brings life to your flesh, but if you are still engaged in envy, jealousy, and comparing yourself to other people, it will lead to rottenness of the bones. You may go to doctors and take medicine, but as long as that envy is in your heart, the rottenness of the bones will still be there. So there are things people do that encourage infirmity to raid their lives. I shared this with you before about a friend of mine who went to minister somewhere. The way my friend ministers, he calls all those sick to come forward and then begins to lay hands on them one by one.

That day, he took the altar call, and people came, and he was asking them what the problem was, before laying hands on them. So he got to a slightly old woman and asked her the problem. She said that her head was heavy, she was confused, she could not eat, and so on. My friend wanted to lay hands on her, but the Lord said, “No. Do not lay hands on this woman. Tell her to go and padlock her mouth and stop talking anyhow”.

So my friend said to her, “Mummy, I am not going to pray for you. The Lord said that if you can just hold your lips, you will be fine.” The woman lost her temper.

She said, “It is not your fault. If not for sickness, what am I looking for here? Look at himself. Look at his ear like flag”. Imagine her abusing the preacher. So my friend did not answer; he prayed for the others and left. But the woman went home, had a good rethink, and decided that she was going to control herself, her anger, and her mouth. She only did it for one day. She did not abuse anybody or shout at anybody, and all her sicknesses vanished. So there are characters and behaviours that encourage infirmity.

Are you here, and are you envious of others? Stop before your bones become rotten. An unsound mind will be experiencing trouble physically and spiritually. If a sound heart is the life of the flesh, an unsound mind will bring trouble to the flesh. When you now add this unsound mind to envy, it will lead to all kinds of sicknesses like bone problems, arthritis, paralysis, skin diseases, and cancer because those are the diseases that rotten the bones. Beloveth: many disorders in the body are rooted in rebellion to God. Rebellion and idolatry can be the root of any disease incidence.

2 Chronicles 21:14–15 (KJV) says: “Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods: And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.”

The Bible is a complete book, if you know what it is saying. Rebellion and idolatry led to the situation described in the above passage. Roots of bitterness, resentment, and envy can affect your kidneys and heart and give you infections. Disobedience can lead to heart disturbances and a melancholic look at life generally. When you get home and begin to read Isaiah 3, you find that many of the things we call fashion that we put on can cause trouble. It can cause problems in your hair, inflammation, infections, and so on.

When you are very vain, you are always interested in vanity, you are always in every party, you come to church in one way and go out another way. Listen, all that vanity and pride can be the root of restlessness, inability to sleep, helplessness, and despair.

Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV) says: “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”

And the continuation began to list all the blessings that would follow obedience to God. Then, as you read on and get to verse 15, we see something strange.

Deuteronomy 28:15 (KJV): “But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:”

Deuteronomy 28:21–29 (KJV) says: “The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed. The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away. The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed. The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart: And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.”

This is the result of disobedience.

Deuteronomy 28:34–35 (KJV): “So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.”

What is the scripture telling us? It is telling us something very huge: that many sicknesses are attached to the curses of the law:
▪ Pestilence
▪ Consumption: What disturbs somebody by separating somebody into parts; makes somebody waste away and emaciate.
▪ Inflammation: a rise in temperature, which is called fever or tuberculosis.
▪ Astonishment of the heart: heart attack.
▪ Itch: eczema.
▪ Madness.
▪ Blindness.
▪ Ulcers.
▪ Boil.
▪ Bleeding piles.
▪ Depression. And it said, “No man shall save thee”.

WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?
We need to:

1. Repent and turn from our wicked ways.
2. Acknowledge our sins by confessing that we are sinners.
3. Ask for and receive forgiveness.
   After we have done the first three, then we begin to:
4. Bind and cast out the spirit behind.
5. Speak destruction to the fruit of the unclean spirit.
6. Issue the curse of God upon them.
7. Anoint with oil. It is not a joke that the Bible says, “Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them anoint him.”
8. Then we need to pray warfare prayers.

And therefore, tonight, it is now left in your court. If I do not say “stop praying” and you stop, you may have made the mistake of stopping when the thing is about to be shifted away, and immediately you stop praying, it goes back to where it was trying to leave before.

TOTAL HEALING (6)
Confession: Jeremiah 32:17: “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:”

1. Father, after the order of Namaan, immerse me in the pool of the blood of Jesus and heal me of any sickness in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. I decree that daily, the joy of the Lord remains my strength, in the name of Jesus.
3. Evil priests, cursing my destiny from the altar of darkness, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
4. Battles against my finances, backfire in the name of Jesus.
5. Blood and water in my body, reject deadly disease, in the name of Jesus.
6. My body, soul, and spirit; reject every form of bewitchment, in the name of Jesus.
7. My Father, let the blood of Jesus stand between me and any sickness trying to come up in my body, in the name of Jesus.
8. I speak destruction to the root of affliction planted by witchcraft powers in my life, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every arrow of sickness sent to kill me, return to the sender, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every root and seed of affliction in my body, be uprooted by fire, in Jesus’ name.
11. I bind every spirit of get-and-lose over my life, in the name of Jesus.
12. Blood of Jesus, minister defeat unto every evil work in my life, in Jesus’ name.
13. Blood of Jesus, bring evil works in my life down to nothing, in the name of Jesus.
14. You enemy of good things in my life, receive destruction, in the name of Jesus.
15. I bind the staying power of any problem in my life by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
16. Every evil spirit working against my well-being, fall down and die, in Jesus’ name.
17. I hold the blood of Jesus against the spirit of failure at the edge of breakthroughs, in the name of Jesus.
18. I hold the blood of Jesus against the spirit of stagnation in any area of my life, in the name of Jesus.
19. Every demonic delay of my expected breakthroughs, die, in the name of Jesus.
20. I hold the blood of Jesus against failure at the edge of success, in Jesus’ name.
21. Every syndrome of lack of good helpers in my family line, die, in Jesus’ name.

1. Strangers in my body, hear the Word of the Lord: come out now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Wicked powers assigned to increase my disappointment, you are liars; die in the name of Jesus.
3. Anything lodging in my body that God has not put there, your time is up; die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Strangers in my head, come out now, in the name of Jesus.
5. (Lay your hand on your chest) Strangers in my chest, come out now, in the name of Jesus.
6. (Lay your hand on your tummy) Arrows fired into my body, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
7. Powers assigned to destroy my health, you are liars; die in the name of Jesus.
8. Powers assigned to donate me to the dining table of darkness, die, in the name of Jesus.
