Topic: CONNECTING TO THE GOD OF WONDERS (2)
Text: Exodus 15:11.

Exodus 15:11 (KJV) says: “Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
The last time, I told you that a wonder is an event that cannot be explained by the laws of nature. I told you that it is God’s special act that cannot be explained or duplicated. God doeth wonders, and we looked at some of the wonders He has done.
I also began to tell you some facts about the God of Wonders:
- When He opens a door, no man can close it. When He closes a door, no man can open it.
- There is no problem too hard for the God of Wonders to solve.
- In the dictionary of the God of Wonders, the word ‘impossibility’ does not exist. Jesus said, “With man, this is impossible. But with God, all things are possible”.
- I told you as well that no matter the strength of your opposition, one word from the God of Wonders will scatter them.
- No enemy is too hard for the God of Wonders to dismantle.
- No reproach is too hard for the God of wonders to remove.
- When the God of Wonders wants to bless you, He has no respect for your age. Then we concluded that:
- There is no power, force, or personality of any dimension that can equal or compete with the power of the God of Wonders.
The God of Wonders is not bound by time or space. He can do a fast forwarding and a rewinding. The problem is this: our faith. The unbelief in our souls is a serious problem.
The Bible says, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”
The Bible also says, “If any of you shall believe, it shall be done. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
There is no power of any dimension that can equal or compete with the power of the awesome God, the God that does wonders. The GOD of wonders is at His best when man is at his worst. After men have done the worst they can do, that is when God will come up with something. The God of Wonders can create something from nothing. I remember that woman. After waiting for many years for the fruit of the womb, she got pregnant. The husband was not a Christian. So the first time they went for a scan, the hospital said, “There is no baby; this is fibroid”, and she was asked to come for surgery.
Her husband said, “Well, I do not believe in your God; I want to try my god.”
So he forcefully dragged her to a native doctor. The native doctor said, ‘This is not fibroid; this is stone. The enemy has put stone.’ So the husband asked, “What do we do?” The native doctor asked them to buy about seven goats or so. The woman replied, “On Christmas day, we cannot even afford to buy one goat; you now said we should buy seven.” She came back here. I prayed with her and said, “This is a baby.” And you know what happened? She gave birth to a baby, from the handiwork of the God of Wonders. The God of Wonders can suspend all physical laws and give you a miracle. When the God of Wonders takes over your battle, your enemy is in trouble.
● I see somebody here today; if you can shout a 10-fold amen, your stubborn enemies are in trouble, in the name of Jesus.
At the voice of that God of wonders, all opposition scatters. If He has not spoken, it is a different matter. But once He speaks, it is over. Many come to church, but they do not really believe. They doubt a lot, and many have educated themselves above faith. Many have accepted the conditions of the enemy in their lives. Many think it strange that they will build a car, do one great thing or the other, or run a multimillion-naira business. The enemy has put many minds in a straight jacket, and God is waiting for us to break out of that jacket.
Some have looked at the whole of their family and said, “Nobody has ever done well in this family,” and think that because of that, they are not going anywhere instead of believing God that their own case is different. I am inviting such people here this morning to connect to the God of wonders by the power of the blood of Jesus. The God of Wonders can over answer your prayers and give you a breakthrough that will shock your friends and surprise your enemies. When that awesome God appears at your battlefront, that is the end of that battle.
When MFM was still at old Yaba Road, we had a woman come for our meeting. In the city where she lived, she had the best school, and the fees were cheap. So parents kept taking their children there. One day, she got a letter. The letter was written in blood. And it said, “Madam, are you the only one in this place running a school? Close the school or die within 7 days!” She was scared. She brought the letter to me. I said, “Okay, the people who have written this letter have made a huge mistake.” So we got to the service that day. I stretched that letter and said, “You see this letter? It was written to one of our sisters here, in blood.”
“Everybody, point to this letter and say ‘back to the sender! You shall drink your own blood and eat your own flesh.’” Everybody prayed with anger, and we burnt the letter. And truly, they tried to kill her. 14 people, armed, went to her house at night. But then they made a holy mistake. They did not know her house had a swimming pool. So, as they were jumping into her compound through the wall, they were landing in the swimming pool. When they fell in, they were so destabilised. They jumped out and jumped back over the wall, but then there was a fat man amongst them who could not swim, and the others tried to drag him out but could not because he was very big. So they left him and ran away. Madam was sleeping in the house and did not know what was going on.
● I pray that your enemies shall be confused, in the name of Jesus. (A sevenfold amen).
So the next morning, when she woke up, she found the fat man inside the swimming pool with a gun. She was shocked, and she called the police. By the time the police came and they saw the man, they knew who sent them. That was how all the robbers were arrested.
● I am praying for somebody here that any enemy that is writing evil letters against you, whether physical or spiritual, with a tenfold amen, bury them in the name of Jesus.
When men have come to their wits’ end, that is the beginning of the divine operation of the God of wonders. Let me share this testimony again. Many years ago, I was a student at the University of Reading. We used to have a Nigerian Christian fellowship. One Nigerian brother came for that meeting. I said to him, “Mr. Man, surrender your life to Jesus.” He replied, “I did not come here to look for Jesus o, I came here to look for good girls.” So he did not listen to me. He went his way, and I went my way.
One day, I got a letter. When I looked at the top, I saw His Majesty’s prison. The letter was from the Majesty of England. So I looked at it, and lo and behold! It was that fellow I spoke to who did not listen.
He wrote, “Dear Daniel, I am in prison now, but I have surrendered my life to Jesus in prison. I remember you telling me to do this. Please, can you be kind enough to come to this prison and pray for me?” To be honest, I was scared. I wondered, “What if I go and look for this man in prison and they say, ‘another Nigerian has come here, so let’s hold him’ and then I get arrested too?” So I decided that I would not go. Then I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit say, “Son, whether you like it or not, go!”
Well, I prepared myself to go. When I got there, they looked at the letter, verified it, and took me in.
When I got inside, I was not happy at all. I saw plenty of Nigerians in jail. The one that pained me most was a 72-year-old man there. I asked, “What did this man do?” They said he carried drugs. So I went to the person I came to visit. I asked him, “Why are you here? What did you do?” He said he was doing credit card fraud. I asked him if he indeed did it. He said that yes, he did. I said, “Okay, get on your knees and begin to ask the Lord to forgive you.” He knelt down and did so. So I prayed with him and left. I informed my friends at the fellowship, and we started praying for him, saying that God should have mercy on him.
The day of the case came. We were at the back of the court, praying in tongues. That day, it was as if that judge woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The first case, a Nigerian got 7 years in jail. The second person, a Congolese, got 7 years in jail. Another one, a white man, got 7 years in jail. Then it became the turn of our brother. When he stood there, the judge removed his glasses, looked at him, and said, “Young man, I understand you have a 1st class in estate management.” He replied, ‘Yes, my lord.’
The judge continued, “I understand that you also have a distinction in your Masters in estate management.” He said again, ‘yes, my lord.’ The judge then wore his glasses and pronounced, “If you made a 1st class and you had a distinction in your Masters and you could commit this kind of offence, I think you have only one problem. Your problem is that you are a madman. Since I have concluded that you are a mad man, you are discharged and acquitted.” We at the back knew that he was not a mad man; it was the handiwork of the God of Wonders.
● I pray for somebody here today: What the enemy said is not possible for you, where they said you will not get to, the promotion they said you will not receive, by the power of the God of wonders, receive them, in the name of Jesus.
The God of Wonders has not created anything He cannot control. Not only is He God Almighty, He is the Almighty God. The awesome God is not bound by time or space, and His power can change anything and anybody. When problems gather, they are raw materials for the God of Wonders.
I have been a minister for years now. I have seen the God of Wonders rewrite people’s biographies in a minute. The God of Wonders has His way in the wind and in the whirlwind. He can convert adversity into advancement. He can use your enemy to defend and promote you.
The plan of the God of Wonders cannot be troubled by any human power. He is a God of 24-hour breakthroughs. The God of “by this time tomorrow”. Joseph rose from prison to the palace in 24 hours. Mordecai, who would have been killed, got a breakthrough in 24 hours. Blind Bartimaeus was shouting, “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me,” and his destiny changed within 24 hours. That lame man at the beautiful temple had been there for years until Peter and John passed that place.
When he left home that morning, he did not know his destiny was going to change that day. The story of Moses changed within 24 hours.
Therefore, this morning, you need to connect and call on that God of wonders.
Are people mocking you?
Those mocking you are larger than those who want to help you?
People are already concluding that you are finished?
Has the enemy issued a death sentence against you?
Is it the prediction of the experts and doctors that you cannot make it? Connect to the God of Wonders today.
There was this man going about with strange women who were attacking his wife. The wife became sick, and the sickness was terrible. She had to be rushed to the hospital by her same husband. This husband knew that the strange women wanted to kill her and yet took her to the hospital. A mad husband. Doctors came around her, saw her condition, and all of the doctors that came just gave up. They said to her husband, “Sir, this woman cannot survive. The cancer has gone too far. We are sorry, sir.” This man left the woman, got into the car, and called the strange woman, saying, “Yes, that idiot is going to die. Let us meet in the house.”
So he invited the strange woman over. His wife was on that death bed when she remembered an MFM prayer point and started to pray. She was not our member. The prayer point says, “Let the eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood eat their own flesh and drink their own blood”. All of a sudden she saw an angel walk in, wearing a white garment, who said to her, “You will not die; that strange woman will die.” He then put his hand in her stomach and pulled out something that looked like a rag, put his hand in her heart, removed another thing, put his hand in her head, and removed another thing.
He then said, “Okay, remove that drip in your hand; take that gadget off your chest,” and she did. “Jump up”, she did. “Jump seven times,” she did. The angel then said, “Now, go out and tell the doctor to discharge you.” When she came out of the room, they were scared because this was someone brought in on a stretcher, not talking or seeing, to see her bubbling with life and saying, “Tell the doctor I want to go home.” So they quickly called the doctor, shouting, “Doctor, come and see something strange happening here!” The doctor came and was confused.
● May your miracle confuse your enemies, in the name of Jesus.
He asked her, “Were you the one that came here that your husband brought?” She said yes. He asked, “What happened?” She said, “I got a miracle.” So he said, “Okay, let us run a check.” They ran a check, and everything about her was perfect, so she took a taxi home. She got in to find her husband and the strange woman. They were shaking and terrified. They thought it was her spirit. She said, “I am not dead; I am here. I was healed by the Great Physician.” Then, to the strange woman, she said, “I feel sorry for you.” The strange woman went out in shame. By the next morning, she was dead. The arrows had gone back to the senders.

- O God arise, build a hedge of fire around me, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers oppressing my life through dreams, die in the name of Jesus.
- Stubborn pursuers of my life, hear the Word of the Lord: die, in the name of Jesus.
- O God arise; multiply your power in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers prolonging my battles, you are liars; die in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, recover my stolen virtues, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers announcing my name for failure, your time is up; die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every rope tying me down to one spot, break in the name of Jesus.
- Every satanic device assigned to terminate my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

- I plug my life into the socket of wonders, by the power in the blood of Jesus.
