Topic: BECOMING YOUR OWN DELIVERANCE MINISTER (4)
Text: Luke 1:74-75

Luke 1:74-75 (KJV) says: “That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.”

We have been discussing the principles of personal deliverance, that a time may come when a person could receive an attack spiritually. You may not have access to any pastor or deliverance minister, or you may be facing constant attacks, and in those times, you need the ministry of personal deliverance. You need to understand how to become your own prophet, your own pastor, your own deliverance minister, and lay your own hands upon your own body. So personal deliverance is a personal way, a do-it-yourself way to solve spiritual problems.

It is the process by which you take authority as a believer in Christ and stand against any work of the enemy in your life, not waiting for any pastor or expecting any prophet to pray for you.

Personal deliverance at its core is receiving deliverance through the authority and power vested in you as a Christian. It is personally breaking your spiritual bondage. It is exercising your kingdom rights. These days, the deliverance grounds and hospitals are filled with people who receive spiritual attacks but do not know it is spiritual attacks.

Many wake up with the result of night caterers, night attackers, and night husbands. What many people do not realise is this: the devil does not come to people in a gathering like this normally. He will wait till you get home, till you are on your own, then he will attack you. This is what they do and how they attack so many people.

A lot of people wake up with blinding headaches, some wake up and can no longer see, and some wake up with memory failure. A little bit of knowledge, the kind we are sharing here, will save you a lot of trouble, time, stress, and money.

This couple got married here in Lagos, but for some strange reason, decided to go to their village for their honeymoon. In that village, there was a small house, the best house, which was surrounded by walls and looking very nice, and so that was where they went. Normally, there is noise as it is a village setting. All of a sudden in the night as they were sleeping, they found out that all the usual noise had ceased. There was perfect silence. Then they heard the gate to the building open. Something was opening the gate. Then it entered and began to walk towards the house.

Then the thing got to the window, a very giant-looking thing. Without touching the window, the window opened. The man woke up; the woman did not wake up. This creature just stood there, staring at them. The husband felt glued to the bed; he could not stand up. After the creature stared for about five minutes, the thing went away, and the gate closed. Immediately after, the usual noise started. It was then the man got himself and woke his wife, and told her, “Something has just happened. This morning at 5am, we are leaving.”. The wife protested, “But we just got here.”.

The man said, “I said something has just happened; we are leaving!” So at 5am, they ran back to Lagos. But the harm was already done. Her next menstruation after this incident, there was not a single drop of blood. She menstruated maggots. They ran to the hospital; the doctor did not understand what to do. He asked them, “Do you have samples of the maggot?” They said “no.”. He then retorted, “You have to wait till your next menstruation before we know what to do.” They exclaimed, “Till the next 28 days?!” The doctor replied in the affirmative. The next menstruation, maggots came out again.

Fortunately for them, the doctor on duty that day was a spiritual man, and he said to them, “This is not medicine. Go to MFM”. That was what brought the woman here, and she had to go through a series of prayers before the rain of maggots could stop. But that is not where I am going. Where I am going to is that a little bit of knowledge on what we are teaching now—personal deliverance—would have eliminated that problem. Immediately the man got himself back; he would have woken up his wife, and with the ministry of personal deliverance, whatever that agent had come to do would have been reversed.

● I am praying for somebody here: every giant strongman sent to trouble your Israel, with a twenty-one-fold amen, let heaven trouble them now, in the name of Jesus.

The other time too, they brought a girl here from the University of Lagos living in one of the hostels. She was insane by the time her mother brought her here. After anointing her head and praying for her a bit, she then remembered what happened. There were three other girls that stayed in the same room with her. She said that one night, she closed her eyes, but sleep did not come. All of a sudden, at midnight, she was not sleeping; she saw a tall giant enter into the room through the wall and went straight to one of the girls sleeping. This giant man laid on top of this girl and began to sleep with her.

After he had finished, this girl did not wake up. One way or the other, this giant suspected that she was not asleep and turned suddenly in her direction and tapped her, and she opened her eyes and said, “I know you are not sleeping. Do not tell anybody what you have seen. But already, I have planted madness in your body.”. That was all she remembered. When eventually she got herself, a little bit of self-deliverance would have cancelled the words of that man.

● I am praying for somebody here: every utterance of darkness to demote you, disturb you, and make you sick: let the utterances backfire, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).

There are many reasons that personal deliverance is needed:

1. It stops you from getting sick. Once they bring their sickness, whether physical or spiritual, you send it back to the senders.
2. It strengthens your spiritual life. Your spiritual life becomes strong when you keep running yourself through personal deliverance.
3. It makes your prayer altar continually active. Your prayer altar is continually active because you do not allow the fire to die.

Unless a mosquito is very crazy or a housefly is mad, you will plug your iron at 200 degrees Celsius, and the mosquito will decide to land on top of the iron. Unless a mosquito is crazy, it cannot be boasting that it is coming to quench fire.

Beloveth, let us understand something. When the Bible says, “He maketh His ministers a flame of fire,” it means that you show respect because fire is respected. The reason the enemy does not respect many of us is for one simple reason: there is no fire. There is iced water. How can there be fire when you are an expert at cosmetics and makeup and not at quoting the Word?

How can there be fire when you are practicing secret sin? How can there be fire when you are practicing masturbation? When you are buying sex toys to have sex with yourself? There will be iced water; there cannot be fire. The Bible says, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.”. If a child decides to go and be touching fire, nobody will need to tell the child to withdraw. When the enemy knows that if they give you one slap, you will respond with twenty-one slaps, they will be very careful.

I know a woman of God who has gone to be with the Lord now. There was a hospital in front of her house. Anytime the midwives were experiencing problems with any patient having difficult labour, they would go and call Mama. She would come into the hospital and pray, and God honours her prayer.

One time, a woman was having a problematic delivery. The doctor was confused, and somebody was asked to call Mama. Do you know that immediately the woman stepped into the room, a demon spoke from the mouth of the pregnant woman and said, “Ah! That firewoman is here! Everybody, pack your load! Let us go! This woman will wound everybody here!” She had not even prayed when the baby came out. They were scared of her.

● I am praying for somebody here: the fire that will be in your life and terrify your enemies, and anywhere they mention your name, the fire will answer them: receive the fire now, in the name of Jesus.

4. It removes every seed of the enemy from your life. As they are putting it in, you are removing it. After some time, you will understand the principle of removing it from your body and putting it back into their bodies. And you know, a seed can be in a place and look inactive until there is a favourable environment, and then it begins to germinate.

That man you are kissing in your office may be you planting a seed. You may not feel anything now, but a seed has been planted that will manifest later. That is why we always pray one prayer at our Ministers’ Conference, which is “Any problem in my life that has not manifested now but will manifest in the future to disgrace me, die!” It is a popular ministerial prayer point.

● I am praying that prayer for all who are listening to me this morning: that unconscious seed that the enemy has planted and you are not even aware that it is there: let the thunder fire of the God of Elijah scatter them, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS.

1. Chains assigned against my moving forward, break in the name of Jesus.
2. Every giant dwelling in my promised land, I trample upon you in the name of Jesus.
3. Powers that want me to fail, you are liars; die in the name of Jesus.
4. Embargo on my favour, break, in the name of Jesus.
