Topic: THE MINISTRY OF PERSONAL DELIVERANCE (7)
Text: Obadiah 1:17, Ecclesiastes 7:7

We have read from Obadiah 1:17, which says: “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”

You cannot major in deliverance and leave holiness out because after you are delivered, it is that holiness that will maintain the deliverance. In the same way, you cannot major in holiness and leave deliverance out, because the formula to possess your possession is deliverance + holiness.

We have explained several times to you why you have to learn the ministry of deliverance because:

• You can face a sudden attack, and there is nobody to help.
• You can be in a situation where there is no deliverance minister to help you.
• You can have a sudden attack, and you need to know what to do.

We studied the reasons personal deliverance is needed.

Today, we go to another section. There is a huge department in the spirit realm. It is a very serious student in the school of bondage. It is called Oppression.

As a matter of fact, a large percentage of human beings are being oppressed one way or the other spiritually. There is a difference between being oppressed and being possessed. There are more oppressed people than possessed people. Sometimes the enemy just wants to come, attack the person, and go back to camp. He just wants to attack and run away. He does not intend to stay long. He just attacks and retreats.

● If there is anyone here like that, that the enemy keeps attacking and running away, and before you start prayers, he escapes; receive your deliverance in the name of Jesus.

Part of the reason you need to learn this ministry of deliverance is because of this oppression. The book of Ecclesiastes 7:7a (KJV) says: Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad;

Meaning that even the wise are troubled by the ways of the wicked. Oppression can turn a wise man into a fool. Oppression sometimes shocks the wits of the wise man. Beloveth, I can categorically confirm to you that storms of life have a maddening power. This is a very serious situation.

In 1976, I was in Unilag. My roommate fell down from the bus, and the bus ran over his leg. The bus driver was not even aware, and he drove off. But my friend was screaming there. So we rushed him at 12 midnight to the emergency ward of the University Teaching Hospital. They started treating him. We were six individuals that went there. After some time, the doctors came out later to tell us that we could not stay there and we had to go back to campus in the dead of the night. As we stepped out of Lagos University Teaching Hospital, at one gate there in the dead of the night, we saw a woman walking towards us with a big pot on her head.

Because it was dark, we could not discern quickly. Then we began to see her hair, which looked expensive. But as she moved closer, we found out that she was stark naked. My friends ran away and said, “Daniel, this is a spirit!” I said, “I must see the spirit.” So she came towards me. I said to her, “Madam, you look educated. Why are you walking about naked in the night with a pot on your head?” She replied, “My son. It is not an ordinary pit; it is a pot of sacrifice. I went to England to study. When I got back, I met trouble. There are problems all over. Things have scattered. I was told by a native doctor that the only way to be free is to carry this sacrifice naked.”

I said to her, “Madam, you need to surrender your life to Jesus. You cannot continue to carry it.” She looked at me and retorted, “Young man, mind your business,” and she walked away. I shook my head. Someone who studied in the United Kingdom was now carrying a pot of sacrifice. I felt sorry for her. But why was she carrying that pot? Simple reason: oppression maketh a wise man mad. The enemy raises storms against people, but you need to know how to respond. Many people are totally out of their minds because of oppression. This is a very serious matter. A man that came for deliverance years ago only ran to MFM because he was sick of cancer.

He went to a native doctor who said that the way to be free from the infirmity was that he should sleep with his youngest daughter. I asked, “Sir, did you do it?” He said, “Yes.” I then asked again. “Did you get healed?” He replied, “No.” That was what brought him. Oppression has a maddening power. Another one said that she lost her husband to a strange woman. So she went to a prophet who said she should get an egg, rub it all over her body, eat it, and her husband would be back. But since the day she ate that egg, she kept seeing the prophet in the dream sleeping with her. Oppression maketh a wise man mad.

But the principle of this world is very straightforward: If you face a mysterious enemy, you must become mysterious to defeat that enemy. If you face a strange enemy, you have to be strange to deal with the enemy. If you face a violent enemy, you must exhibit violence to deal with that enemy. You cannot expect to have victory in a mysterious world without being mysterious yourself. So if you face a mad enemy, you need to become spiritually mad. Madness will only listen to the voice of a higher madness. Violence will only submit to the voice of a higher violence.

Let me categorically announce to you and everyone who can hear me now. Let no one deceive themselves. The devil operates a primitive trade by barter; he does not give anybody anything free. Therefore, the maddening power of oppression can only be subdued by a higher power. Listen and listen well: only the voice of Jesus can tame the power of oppression. Any power that can make the wise to be foolish is not to be joked with at all. Only a madder power can deal with a mad power. There was a message preached over 25 years ago called “The Madness of Jesus.”

Jesus spoke to the storm as if it were a human being. He spoke to the fig tree; He spoke to nonliving things.

If you see a person speaking to a non-living thing, you will say he is not okay in the head. So, the voice of oppression needs a higher voice of oppression. Oppression by the enemy can:

• raise a voice of unprofitable conflict.
• frighten us.
• make us half-hearted.
• make you think of giving up, which is their agenda. Their agenda is to make you give up and not pray again or read your Bible. I need somebody here who wants victory by fire to raise up your right hand and shout this the way I will shout mine:

● I shall not surrender; my enemies shall surrender by the power in the blood of Jesus. (3 hot times).

Oppression by the enemy can:

• remove someone’s attention.
• remove the alertness of a person.
• make you forget you have a captain.
• make you lose your focus.

Oppression has maddening power. You see an able-bodied man at the bar beach being bathed by a woman. What can make him do that? Oppression. You see a person with incisions all over the body. What is the cause? Oppression. So if you are here this morning and you have a congregation of witchcraft barking against you, or you have familiar spirits that do not want to let you go, or they have been denying you access to your rightful place in life, or you are being harassed by wicked spirits not to contest for your right, or your body is being destroyed by powers of darkness, you need a higher madness.

You see, in one way or another, all men have some form of madness. Some are mad for money; they swallow all kinds of things. Some are mad for love, and so they go into magic fetish power to acquire it. All the lists of human desires, ambitions, passions, griefs, regrets, addictions, and lust are all quiet madness, ready to spread and consume if you do not control them. One popular madness is the desire to be noticed.

All that madness would be great if channelled to God. The energy some people are wasting on gossip, backbiting, and fighting on social media can be harnessed and redirected against the oppressors. Put your madness to good use. Channel your madness to fight against your oppressors.

You will notice that all geniuses have some touch of madness in them. Like somebody who built an aircraft and said, “This thing will fly.” People asked, “How can it fly?” The first man to invent a car was discouraged from buying a horse, saying that he was wasting his time because for the first car that was made, the man would have to come to the front of the car, wind it up, quickly jump in, and hold the steering. The Bible says, “As from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent taketh it by force.”

Who are the oppressors? Because a major reason for learning personal deliverance is because of oppressors. So, who are these oppressing forces?

1. Problem expanders.
2. Star hunters
3. Destiny killers.
4. Evil spies: They spy on you and report you to the coven.
5. Head manipulators: They go into a person’s brain and twist it around. They transfer brains from one place to another.
6. Money swallowers: You are making money, but it is being swallowed.
7. Progress arresters.
8. Satanic ministers who will ask you to go and do what is unscriptural and subject you to what the Bible says is wrong.
9. Poverty activators.
10. Coffin spirits.
11. Vagabond anointing: the person is just moving about, no focus.

● I am praying for somebody here: if there is somebody in your family with vagabond anointing on his life, with a sevenfold amen, I command them to be delivered, in the name of Jesus.

12. Rain of affliction. As one is going, another is replacing it.
13. Strange money: The money you get now takes away your money.
14. Witchcraft handwriting: you wake up to find their marks all over your body.
15. Satanic arrows, satanic spirits.
16. Desert spirits: They make a person dry. They meet the person wet and turn him dry.
17. Evil marks. Like that man whom the pastor referred to MFM. He had had five failed engagements. The women would just lose interest. He would not have sought help if not for the fact that the last woman ran away with a 70-year-old man while he was 35. That shook him and left him wondering. There was a mark on him. There are some marks on some ladies, and they always see the wrong men. There are some marks of hatred on some people.
18. Contenders with your angels of blessing: When your blessings are coming, they confront the angels bringing them and refuse to allow them to get to you. They tell the angel, “You cannot bless him with a good woman because, according to the agreement his forefathers signed with us, all the men in this family must marry witches. So you cannot give him a woman of God; give him a witch instead.”
19. Business bewitchment, whereas you think it is the economy.
20. Marriage killers.
21. Children killers.
22. Those praying satanic prayers against other people.
23. Territorial demotion.
24. Pocket with holes.

All these are forces of oppression, so when we say ‘deliverance!’, some think it is just deliverance from witches and wizards. In fact, deliverance from witches and wizards is just 1% of deliverance. Sometimes, it is even easier to deliver a witch than a fornicator.

25. Destructive incantation: Someone somewhere who does not like you is hiding in the dark and raining incantations against you. I want your amen to be wickedly loud as I make this decree:

● Father, I am decreeing that anyone who is hiding in darkness and raining curses and incantations against your people, with a sevenfold amen, we bury them now, in the name of Jesus.

26. Demon idols. They are sent to people.
27. Dream manipulators presenting your enemies as friends and friends as enemies.
28. Unfriendly friends.
29. Placental manipulation. This happened on the Caribbean Islands, not even in Africa, where a girl’s placenta was buried in America, and a tree was planted on top of it. Sometimes the tree would have leaves and fruits, and sometimes it would not. It was when she got to MFM that she noticed that anytime the tree was having leaves and fruits, she would be doing well. But anytime the leaves started dropping off, she would begin to experience poverty. It was placental manipulation.

I prayed for a young lady, and a voice from her spoke to me, saying, “Man of God, you cannot deliver this lady because I am in her and she is in me.” I replied, “Who is that? Who are you?” The voice replied, “I am the grandmother. When she was born, I cooked her placenta in okro soup and ate it. So you cannot deliver her.”

30. Helpers manipulation. Those who should help you are being manipulated against you or are absent.
31. Wandering stars. Just wandering about, you do not know what they are doing.
32. Household wickedness.
33. Evil plantation.
34. Satanic poison.
35. Evil deposits.
36. Strange children, like the Bible calls them. One single strange child in a family can destroy the whole family.
37. Unprofitable load.
38. Multiple curses and evil covenants.

These are forces of oppression that have a maddening power. So we need a higher power to deal with this maddening power, and that is the focus of the seven prayers we are praying after this message. They are personal prayers for you to acquire power because where there is power, there is no struggle. When a lesser power comes against a higher power, as a matter of necessity, the lesser power will bow. The paper and leaves may be boasting until the wind gets into action.

It is for the purpose of that higher power that I am saying all these. Jesus himself did not leave his disciples in any doubt. He said, “You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.” Elisha studied Elijah and noticed the kinds of enemies he was battling. And now Elijah was going away. Elisha said, “If this man with this kind of power is still being harassed like this, I need a double of his power to survive.” I see somebody here this morning: If you will dare to pray from your heart, power will fall upon you that will convert you to a terror to the kingdom of darkness.

PRAYER POINTS.

[Before Message]

1. Shrine of the wasters, your assignment is over in my life: catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every good door shut against me by the powers of darkness, open by fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. (Pray this 3 hot times) Serpents of darkness, biting my progress, die, in the name of Jesus.

[After Message]

1. Power of God that cannot be ridiculed, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Power of God that cannot be insulted, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
3. Holy Ghost, arise: advertise your power in my life, in the name of Jesus.
4. O God, arise, make me a carrier of your power, in the name of Jesus.
5. Powers hindering the power of God in my life, you are liars; die in the name of Jesus.
6. Spiritual powerlessness in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Power failure, I am not your candidate: die, in the name of Jesus.
8. (Say this loud and clear 7 times) No power shall oppress me, by the power in the blood of Jesus.
