Power Must Change Hands

Topic: DEFEATING DOMESTIC WICKEDNESS AND POLYGAMOUS WITCHCRAFT (2)
Text: Judges 6:11-14, 24-26

Beginning from the last Power Must Change Hands programme, we have been looking at this topic.

In today’s session, five things will take place, and I want you to mark my words:

1. The powers sitting on your star shall somersault and die.
2. The blockage against your celebration shall be dissolved.
3. Powers contesting for your full-scale laughter shall evaporate and die.
4. This is for single people here: the STUBBORN POWER sitting on your marital breakthrough shall be totally destroyed.
5. Finally, strange arrows fired against your health shall totally backfire.

Those five things will begin to play out as I speak and pray. Now, turn with me quickly to the book of Judges. This book is one interesting book in the Bible that teaches us loud and clear that anytime God, who is supposed to be made the head, is made the tail, problems happen. In Judges 6, we read about a man called Gideon.

Judges 6:11 (KJV) says, “And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.”

The forces of the Midianites descended on the Israelites and destroyed their harvest. If they saw you processing wheat, they would throw it away. So for the enemy not to know that Gideon was threshing wheat, he went to do it in a winepress. That was where he was hiding to do it.

Judges 6:12-13 (KJV) says: “And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”

Here was a man of valour who was a man of slavery. God made him a man of valour, but he worked as a slave.

● I am praying for somebody here today: Anything making you work contrary to what heaven has declared for you shall be scattered, in the name of Jesus.

This is very interesting. The fact that heaven has written down your names as a man or woman of progress and the fact that heaven has written down your names as a man or woman of valour do not automatically mean you will possess it. Battles are sometimes required to possess possessions. Some people cannot get married without a fight. Some people cannot have a promotion without a fight. Some people cannot have children without a fight. So Gideon had to fight.

Judges 6:14 (KJV) says: “And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”

So the Lord sent Gideon. But there was a family problem. They planted wickedness in the family.

Judges 6:24-26 (KJV) says: “Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it: And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.”

This is a very interesting matter. Many have come from backgrounds where ancestors have raised altars that are now speaking against them. The battle from home is the most terrible and hazardous battle. The altars in your background are a serious enemy and a serious problem.

Evil altars in your foundation in the family are a serious matter. The altar is a place of demonic traffic. It is an evil open door. Unfortunately, many of our forefathers did not serve the living God. They served idols. So anyone in the family who has erected an altar in the family that is fighting the family is household wickedness.

Gideon was suffering. He was mighty but powerless. A man of valour written in heaven but a man of slavery and powerlessness. For God to begin to work for Gideon, the first command was, “Go and destroy your father’s altar. Go and destroy this wickedness in your family. The altar has bound you. It has not allowed me to fully identify with you.”

Until you have destroyed these altars, God cannot fully fight on your side. Truly, God did not help him until the altars were destroyed. Gideon did not know that there was an altar in his father’s house and family. And everybody had been sold to it, including himself.

● There are twenty-seven people here this morning whose lives are being controlled from their family compound. Right where such people are, with a tenfold amen, receive your deliverance in the name of Jesus.

There are some whose placenta has been buried. There is a manure tied with a witchcraft tree somewhere. It is wickedness. Many are not aware that everything about their lives is inside the coven of the enemy. This is one way someone can be battling something and not understand. This is a very serious matter.

The year was 1989. There was a woman who was a medical doctor. Everything she did turned upside down. She had a powerful clinic, but patients never came. Her husband ran away. Her children were not doing well. That was what led her to MFM. That was when we were praying about “O Lord, show me the secrets of my life.”

Anytime she prayed, she would see a pot. She did not understand. So she came to me to complain. “GO, why am I seeing pot?” I asked, “Are your parents still alive?” She replied, “Yes”. I told her, “Go there and ask them. If they show you any pot, bring the pot back to Lagos.”

So she went home. She met her aged father and mother. They greeted her warmly. She bought them things, then sat down to talk to them. She asked, “Mummy, Daddy, do I have a pot? Did you buy a pot for me when I was young?” They replied, “Oh yes, whenever we cut off the first hair of any child, we put it in a pot and bury it in the garden. We did the same for your siblings.” But she knew that her siblings were not also doing well.

She asked, “Where is my own?” They said, “Let us go to the backyard,” and they showed her the pot. She quickly developed a plan. After some time, she excused herself to pee, then went to the backyard, pulled out the pot that was hers and ran back to Lagos. Her hair was still there. It was until that pot was destroyed and burnt before she made any movement in life.

● I am praying for anyone today: There is a wicked altar installed in your family that is currently fighting you; with a tenfold amen, receive your deliverance in the name of Jesus.

He that fights an enemy whom nothing but your blood can pacify should not give such an enemy an advantage, and you must use your most solid weapon.

Family contention is very common in scriptures and thus has limited so many people. When some people begin to dream and see spiritual substitutes of themselves, there is a problem somewhere.

Dreaming of dead relatives? There is a problem somewhere.

When we talk about domestic wickedness:

1. There is resident wickedness.
2. There is acquired wickedness: It is a wicked person that acquired power to oppress others. I have seen people threatening their family members and telling them they would destroy them.
3. There is oppressive wickedness. They oppress and torment without any intention to kill.
4. Attacking wickedness – they put the person under severe wicked attacks.
5. Family initiation, conscious or unconscious. You may be in Lagos here or anywhere in the world trying to pray, but there is someone in your village who takes your name to an idol every morning and says, “Good morning, idol, I bring the names of these children here, including the ones in the village.”
6. Past and current infiltration: Wickedness infiltrated the family.
7. Marital wickedness – always marital failure, strange women, and always trouble in the family maritally.
8. Consulted wickedness: Somebody in the family went to consult a strange power and handed over all the family members to them, without the family knowing. He may even bring something and pollute the people in the family.
9. Polluted family houses: You know that many years ago, people just did not build houses. They bury things under the ground. So polluted family houses allow people to be glued down by magnetic witchcraft. You say, “But why am I dreaming of going back to our compound?” That is why.
10. Delegated strongman: They are all under the canopy of domestic witchcraft.
11. Evil assistance wickedness: Someone went for evil assistance, and the power agreed to help but also collected something from the person.
12. Revenge witchcraft: Somebody feels that someone in the family is using his star or glory, so he goes to get revenge witchcraft.
13. Strange children: The Bible calls some children “strange children”. Children that are unfortunately possessed. Children that are unconsciously initiated go back to the family to trouble it.
14. Property possession witchcraft: They just possess the property, and it is their belongings that they are after.
15. Polygamous witchcraft, which we will deal with later.
16. Donation witchcraft/sacrifice: Someone has donated the family.
17. Spiritual ignorance: The parents did not know. They just handed over their children to the enemy, and the enemy is now troubling the children.
18. Resident curses and covenants and inherited battles.

So when all these things are happening, it is a situation when your blood is against your destiny. You will be experiencing:

• Stubborn resistance.
• Unbelievable loss.
• Unexplainable poverty.
• Iron-like blockages.
• Jericho-like resistance.
• Nightmares that will not go away.
• Plenty of unfriendly friends.

And unless you put up a strategy to deliver yourself from all these, it has the ability to destroy. Unfortunately, the satanic agenda for many has been concluded in the womb. When you are ready to deal with these forces:

1. The first thing is to become a friend of God. The Bible says that “the enemies of a man’s house shall be those of his household”, meaning that when you were battling witchcraft and domestic wickedness, we are not fighting against human beings; we are fighting against those forces and what they are doing.
2. You will repent from every known sin. Every sin that you get involved in strengthens the enemy. That is why, on deliverance ground, the first lecture is on repentance. Many of those who come for deliverance, by the time they decide to repent, the foundation of their battles has been removed. You need to repent from every known sin.
3. Wage war. It is that waging of war many do not understand. That is why we call for meetings like this to educate the ignorant and empower the weak. Get yourself ready.

It was at Akure in those days, during Prophet Obadare’s crusades. I was a small boy in the meeting; I was watching everything going on. We had shared the grace, then the prophet took the mic again and said, “There is a man here; you are one of the most intelligent people on the planet. This is why you do so well in class, but during examinations, you fail. You are from a polygamous home. When you get home from this meeting, look under your bed; you will see a pot. Inside that pot, you will see a piece of meat. That meat is your brain. When the oil in the pot is hot, your brain is awake, and you operate normally. But when the oil sleeps, your brain goes into a coma. Get that pot from under your bed and bring it to the crusade the next day.”

Strange. Very strange. But it became a reality the next day when the man brought the black pot to the crusade with oil and meat inside it. Wickedness of the highest order. He has a brain inside his skull, but the brain had been spiritually removed and transferred into a pot by forces of wickedness. So if you are going to be facing forces like that, you do not pray ice cream prayers. You pray unsanitised, uncivilised prayers. Jesus Himself taught us to do so. When that demonic man was shouting His name in the temple, Jesus said, “Shut up and get out!” The phrase “shut up” is actually a very aggressive word in the New Testament. In the original Hebrew language, it means “be muzzled! Get out!” That is why He has come to destroy the works of darkness.

PRAYER POINTS.

(Lay your two hands on your head).

1. I charge my head with Holy Ghost Fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. My head, reject oppression in the name of Jesus.
3. O heavens, over the progress of my children, open by fire, in the name of Jesus.

(Put your hands down).

4. I receive power to pursue what pursued my parents, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every voice commanding me to carry the evil load of my father’s house, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. My brain, hear the Word of the Lord: become a generator of breakthroughs, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every enemy outside, using the enemy inside to fight me, die, in the name of Jesus.
8. Powers making me struggle for what belongs to me, die, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).
