Topic: SHARING THE GOOD NEWS OF SALVATION

God is sending you today to work for Him, as it is written in
Isaiah 52:7 (KJV): “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!”
Romans 10:15 (KJV) says, “And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
Today, the Holy Spirit is inviting you to do something for Jesus, and what is that? For you to fish for men.
In Luke 5:10, Jesus told James and John, “And so was also James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.”
This assignment did not leave anyone behind. Whether you are young or old, a man or woman, a boy or girl, a minister or servant of God, a group leader, a servant leader, or whatever your position, God is calling you to work for Him.
All Christians must be involved in soul winning. Jesus did not stay in heaven to win sinful man back to God.
He came as a man to identify with sinners, and this is why you too must go and win souls.
This great commission is a commandment to go and win souls, as seen in Matthew 28:19.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
Peter, James, and John went out to preach Christ. Paul preached the gospel freely, without charge. Even if you cannot preach like Paul, like James, or like Peter, you can share tracts. It may look simple, but it is a very powerful exercise.
I know many who have been knocked down, and by receiving tracts, God brought them back.
Many prisoners have recovered from prison, found faith in the Lord, and got converted with the wordings of the gospel tracts.
I know the story of a woman who collected the tracts, went back home and put them on the table. The husband loved going to parties and occasions, and he saw the tract on the table. The title of the tract was “The Great Invitation”. He said, “Yes, this is another invitation to a party.”
But after reading that tract, he discovered a personal decision for Christ, and from there, he got converted. Many places you cannot get to, that tract can get there. Many people you cannot reach; that tract can get there.
In Luke 2:49, Jesus came to give:
- sight to those in spiritual darkness,
- holiness to the sinful,
- power to the weak,
- health to the sick,
- prosperity to the needy,
- dominion from Satan,
- deliverance from captivity. He came to spread the gospel to the lost and bring eternal life for us.
Why will you not do something for Christ on a day like this? The angel told Daniel in Dan 12:3 “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
Will you not share that tract so that your star can shine? You must understand that soul winning is a battle. That soul you want to win may be in the clutches of Satan.
You can see what the devil is doing in our world today and the havoc he has caused in the lives of people. Many cities, countries, and communities are suffering from the touch of the devil.
Today, see yourself as a warrior going to battle for Christ with the Holy Spirit going with you. Know that you are working for the Holy Spirit.
Do not dodge or cut corners to avoid this great assignment. Be wise. Win souls. Share tracts and do your Father’s business as the Lord did His. Once you do His business, He will surely reward you.
How many want God to bless them today? You need boldness and courage. Remember the Holy Spirit is with you. He is inviting you for this assignment. You have received a lot from Jesus Christ; you have received a lot from the Almighty. It is time to give to Christ.
PRAYER POINTS.
- Holy Ghost, empower me to work for you, in the name of Jesus.
- Power and boldness to do my Father’s business fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Today, I receive the power the enemy cannot resist, in the name of Jesus.
- Devices of the wicked assigned against today’s evangelism day, be roasted by fire, in the name of Jesus.
