Topic: POWER FROM ON HIGH
Text: Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8

I want to believe God that you are here with your oil and your mantle.

In these three days of meetings, many things will happen.

• longterm bondages shall be broken.
• All those virtues that have been hidden in the coven preventing the owner from using them, those virtues shall be released.
• And those power sitting on your breakthrough, boasting while doing so, shall be unseated, in the name of Jesus.
• And in these meetings, your local and foreign benefits that the enemy is sitting upon, you will receive power to get them released to you, in the name of Jesus.
• And then, all the witchcraft sponsored infirmities have made a huge mistake. In these meetings, they shall go back to their assigner, in the name of Jesus.

Notice that the topic of today is qualified. We say power from on high because there is also power from beneath. Brothers, there is power from on earth.

In Luke 24:49, Jesus was going away. He was leaving some disciples behind. The disciples had battles to fight. There were terrible forces they were about to confront. There were many, many demons that had woken up against them. They needed power.

So the last thing Jesus dropped when he was going with them, the last thing, the last thing he dropped, the last instruction is this:

Luke 24:49 (KJV) “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

So they were not to go and preach to anybody, or go and minister to anybody. They were to go to the upper room until they receive power from on high. When they get that power, then they can proceed to minister.

This is not an ordinary meeting. Even even as I am speaking, the power of God is moving from person to person and many shall experience expected and unexpected breakthroughs, and those powers laying evil hands on your children; their hands shall be roasted by heaven.

Acts 1:8 (KJV) “But ye shall receive power…” Ye shall receive what? Power. “….after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”

So the source of that power is the Holy Ghost. This is the verse that makes Christianity different from all other religions. Christianity is a supernatural religion. Christianity is power.

Men may turn to religion of vain religion, but here it is power. “But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you, (after that), ye shall be my witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem in Judea in Samaria and the uttermost part of the earth.” This is after that power has come upon you.

When you come to Jesus, two pathways are open to you. There is a pathway of salvation and there is pathway of power.

• The pathway of salvation is when you come to the foot of the cross and you drop your sins there. You get born again. You surrender your life to Jesus and you are now living a new life. That is the pathway of salvation. You may decide to stop there. No problem. You may decide to say, “Okay, I just want to make heaven and that is it.” But then there is a second pathway:
• The pathway of power. And you get that when the Holy Ghost comes upon you. It is good to go into the two pathways. If you decide to stay in one or you do not stay in one, the enemy will deal with you. They may even kill the person.

● That is why I am decreeing here today: The power that will make you to remove the servants that are riding on the horse of your destiny and take over your horse, shall come upon your life, in the name of Jesus.

The apostles were in that room for ten days asking for power. If there is anything wrong with our Christianity these days, it is that our powerlessness is legendary. The average Christian these days cannot demonstrate the power of God in any way.

The average Christians these days are not able to demonstrate the power of God. But you say power has never been cheap because power is the ultimate in any endeavour. There are two keys that can get you anything you want: The key of power, the key of wisdom. But power is something you get.

Power is something you get and you do not need other things because what you do not have, power will supply it. Power is the ultimate pursuit. Elijah in the Bible was the most brutal user of the power of God. Brutal user of that power. He used it to get anything he wanted.

He used that power to kill his enemies. He used the power to bring fire down. He used the power to bring water down. The school of power does not accommodate many people. You have to make a decision to be there.

You have to decide to be there. This is a serious matter, and I want you to understand what we are saying here at these meetings. The battery you are going to put in your car to start the car will not work for a bus. It will not work for trailer. The one you put in the trailer will not be able to help the airplane.

You need some levels of power to deal with some level of troubles and problems. When your power level is lower than those of the enemies fighting you, then they waste the person. There are some levels of spirits that you combat with one word and they disappear.

But there are some that until you start fasting and prayer, you cannot push them out. There are levels of power that are necessary. You need the power of God in your life to have that power in your life. It is to be able to pursue your pursuers and recover what the enemy has stolen you. This is a very very serious matter.

There is a power that cannot be despised. There is a power that cannot be rubbished. There is a power that cannot be insulted. I am going to pray this prayer now. And for those who desire the power of God, let their sevenfold amen be the loudest.

● I decree upon your life: the power that can never be insulted, power that can make you possess your possession: receive the power, in the name of Jesus.

There is a power:

• before which all other powers bow.
• that no power of darkness can confront.
• that can make you unstoppable.
• that can make way for you where there is no way. That power will bulldoze way when there is no way.
• to conquer hard things.
• to prevail.
• that will register you for miracles.
• that calms difficult situation.
• that puts your enemy into the back gear.
• that can make you to progress and prosper beyond your wildest dream.
• that can bring dry bones back to life.
• that can divide your Red Sea.

And that is why we are gathered for this kind of meeting. You see: whether we like it or not, the only language the enemy understands is violence. There is no gentle way of handling a violent enemy. The only thing the enemy respects is power. And as a matter of rule, when a lesser power confronts a higher power, the lesser power must bow. It is an unchangeable rule.

Powerlessness leads to slavery and bondage. The foundation of all bondages is powerlessness. Lack of it is a tragedy. And that power is a dominion on earth. A sister in this church bought a land. Then she travelled abroad.

After a few years, she came back to go back to that land to start development on the land, only for how to get there to find the place surrounded by armed men and workers, building a house. So she approached them and brought out her documents and told them “This land belongs to me. Please you cannot build anything here.”

They cocked their guns and said “madam, we respect you. Get out of here. Our boss brought us here. We must build the house. You cannot come here.” The woman look at them calmly and said “I am a child of God. This is my land. You have to leave willingly or unwillingly.” They looked at her and asked “what is wrong with this short woman?” She she went to her car and brought out her anointing oil and ran it all over the place there.

She spread it around. One of the soldiers there was angry and tried to run towards her. Immediately the man crossed where this woman anointed, he fell down and began to shout, “My stomach, my stomach, my stomach, my stomach.” The second soldier ran towards her, and fell down. The third soldier ran, also fell down. The others, including the builders, ran away. That, is power.

● I am praying for somebody once again: power that cannot be insulted, power that cannot be rubbished, power that cannot be reproached, receive the power, in the name of Jesus.

Divine power is the key to dominion on earth. There is something that I read which was very interesting. It was about the great apostle Babalola. He was holding a training program at night in a building. But opposite that place, the native doctors were having their annual meeting and there was some problem within them and they began to argue. They began to shout. They began to fight and they were making so much noise that the apostle could not concentrate on what he was doing.

The noise was disturbing the apostle while he was teaching, he asked a question, “Who are those over there in the place?” and they replied “those are native doctors”. He took his lamp with oil and he went to their meeting.

He got there and said, “Gentlemen, I’ve come to see you here. I want to talk to you.” And he said, “Angels of God, please help me to hold my lamp” and they found the lamp was floating. They did not see who was holding the lamp, and they were surprised.

He started telling them “if I hear any noise from here again, I am going to deal with you. So, hold your meeting quietly. Do you understand?” All the time he was talking, they were not looking at his face. They were looking at that lamp. They said, “Yes, sir.” He then said “okay, angels of God, give me back my lamp.”

He took the lamp again and walked away. There was not a single noise from that place again. When a lesser power comes across a higher power, the lesser power must bow.

● I am praying for somebody here: All powers that have been boasting against you shall bow, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).

● And I decree that the power that hates your laughter, that hates your joy, before you leave this gathering, they shall be buried in shame, in the name of Jesus.

● Power to make the kind of progress you have never made before, receive that power, in the name of Jesus.

Now listen: spiritual power is not for lazy Christians. But that spiritual power gives you a seat at the table of spiritual champions. Jesus said, “Tarry ye in Jerusalem. Do not leave that place until you receive power from om high”. And when those men receive power from on high, Jerusalem knew there was problem.

They said “these men have turned the place upside down.” Spiritual power makes you an answer in time of crisis. God is waiting for you in your family to demonstrate the power of God.

God is waiting for you for Him to advertise his power in your life.

Spiritual power:

• makes your glory untouchable by spiritual vultures.
• makes you an advertisement of the power of God.
• makes you a prayer warrior that hell respects.
• makes your life a no-go zone for the enemies.
• makes your destiny too defended to be defeated.
• converts your words to divine command. When you shout “hear the word of the Lord”, they listen to you.
• turns your life into a walking fire brand and it turns your setbacks into stepping stones.
• makes the words you speak, judgment to the kingdom of Satan.
• makes your fasting dangerous to the enemy’s camp.
• translates your fasting into divine energy.
• makes wicked authorities to bow to what you are saying.
• makes angelic reinforcement to start, before the battle against you begins.
• restores your lost years and your wasted years.
• gives you immunity against evil plantation and injections.
• blocks every back door that the enemy wants to be using to enter your life.

● I am praying for somebody here: with the power you are going to receive here tonight, there will be an overturning, an overtaking to favor you, in the name of Jesus.

With God’s power in your life, no battle is too strong and no enemy is too big. It makes your prayers to break barriers. The truth is that no force can cage a man who has spiritual power, because that power will turn your insults into instruments of glory.

And do you know beloveth, the enemy respects spiritual power. He does not respect your title, whether pastor, bishop, overseer, he has no respect for those things but he respects power. When the sons of Sceva went to the demonic man and said “In the name of Jesus whom Paul preacheth, you demons, come out of this man!” The demons responded: “Paul, we know. Jesus, We know. But who are you?” And they dealt with them. You cannot deceive demons. You cannot deceive the enemy. They know real power.

That power :

• makes your prayer spiritual sword that pierces darkness.
• Makes heaven and hell to recognize your voice.
• gives you divine recognition.
• turns your hands into holy weapons.
• commands divine results.

The Holy Ghost is the generator of that spiritual power. The Holy Ghost is empowering spirit to give you the kind of power your enemy fears, and turns you into a terror to the enemy. You may have authority, but authority is useless without the power to enforce it. If power does not back up, that authority is useless.

All believers have been given authority, but you must back it up with power. If a policeman wears a uniform and puts up his hand when a a big bus or trailer is coming, because of that authority vested on him, the vehicle stops.

Not that he is able to push that bus away if the bus decides to move, but he has authority. That is authority to stop. But if that driver decides not to obey, there must be a way to punish those who disobey. It is power that now punishes those who disobey with authority.

So spiritual power makes you a terror to the kingdom of darkness and powerlessness makes you a liability. Some problems will not bow until you acquire the level of power that is necessary for making them bow.

The Bible says “Jesus called his disciples and he gave them power against unclean spirits, against all kinds of diseases, against infirmity.” He gave them the power to do it. Evil altars recognize and fear spiritual powers. And without that power, your voice is just a noise in the realm of the spirit. But when the power is present, the resistance collapses. That is why somebody has said ‘where there is power, there is no struggle.’

● I am praying for somebody here today: Any power that does not want to give you peace, no matter how great they are, the power of God shall pull them down, in the name of Jesus.

So in these three meetings, We want to create adequate time for people to draw that power into their life so that they become a terror to the kingdom of darkness, and their possess their possessions.

1. Powers that want me to die in battle, arise and kill yourselves, in the name of Jesus.
2. Arrows from satanic birds, go back, in the name of Jesus.
3. Blessings and progress that have never happened in my father’s house, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
4. Holy Ghost, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYERS WITH MANTLE

1. O God, locate my forgotten file of greatness and restore it now, in the name of Jesus.
2. O God of evidence, silence my mockers this month, in the name of Jesus.
3. Powers programming stagnation into my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
4. O God, let my story change to glory, in the name of Jesus.
5. Any power delaying my prophecy from manifesting, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Time wasters, destiny hijackers, your end has come: die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every good opportunity I have ever missed in my life, hear the word of the Lord: come back, in the name of Jesus.
