Numbers 11:29 KJV, “And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD’s people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!”

Acts 2:17 KJV, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:”

Revelation 10:7 KJV, “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Amos 3:7 KJV, “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

Psalm 25:14 KJV, “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant.”

Of all the spiritual gifts, the only one all men can have is the ability to prophesy.

The Lord’s least school is the school of the prophets – ability to prophesy.

When you’re a bat in the spirit, you’ll be unable to see.

Marrying for beauty is like buying a house because of the paint.

May you become a prophet of Jehovah, in the name of Jesus.

WHO IS A PROPHET?

A prophet is:

  1. A man with insights into the will and purpose of God.
  2. An oracle of God.
  3. Divine mouthpiece.
  4. A visionary who sees beyond the natural.
  5. Somebody who sees what others do not see.
  6. Somebody who predicts future events by divine revelation.
  7. A vessel of divine revelation.
  8. Somebody who sees into the spirit with their inner eyes.
  9. A prophet of God will receive dreams and visions from the Lord.

The greatest mark of a prophet is seeing in the spirit.

Seeing eyes are sometimes common with babies; they sometimes don’t want someone to carry them.

WHAT IS SEEING IN THE SPIRIT?

  1. Having your spiritual eyes open.
  2. Having revelational dreams and visions.
  3. Going into trances and experiencing visitation of Heaven.
  4. Having spiritual sights.
  5. You become a Seer.
  6. You having your head in Heaven.

Spiritual development is no longer a luxury but compulsory.

WHEN YOU BECOME A PROPHET OF GOD:

  1. You have deep confidence in God.
  2. You stop seeing men and women after the flesh.
  3. You laugh when others are crying.
  4. You escape from pits that swallow others.
  5. Your life ceases to become trial and error.
  6. You’ll not be permitted to marry your enemies.
  7. You have access to the secrets of the Lord.
  8. You stop struggling with the strugglers and wrestling with the wrestlers.
  9. You see what others do not see.
  10. You get information from Heaven.
  11. You achieve a state of inner peace.
  12. You are able to stay calm and not allow circumstances around you to affect the state of your life.
  13. You become more patient and tolerant.
  14. Your inner strength grows rapidly.
  15. You stop being afraid.
  16. You have great insight into the will of God.
  17. You have a deeper understanding of your destiny.
  18. It makes you a person of uncommon faith.
  19. You win the war before you fight.
  20. You become a principal actor in your generation.

HOW TO BECOME A PROPHET (6 Ds)

  1. D- Dissatisfaction with your current spiritual level.
  2. D – Desire that your eyes must open.
  3. D – Decide to take action.
  4. D – Determine to get intimate with God.
  5. D – Desperation; holy desperation to get something to happen to your spiritual life.
  6. D- Discipline

Do not endanger your life. You have an opportunity now; use it.

Only divine intervention can save the current youth. Refuse to be wasted and to follow their patterns. Let them call you names, but when your God arises, it is you they will come to meet for help when troubles come.

KEYS TO BECOMING A PROPHET.

  1. Move closer to God deeply – you are as close to God as you want to be.
  2. Stay away from sin.
  3. Leave a clean and holy life.
  4. Pray every day.
  5. Read the Bible daily.
  6. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit.

When you are praying and you do not know what to say anymore, simply ask the bread of Heaven to fill you (Holy Ghost, fill me afresh, overshadow my life).

  1. Learn to listen to God’s voice.
  2. Obey God in small and big things.
  3. Hate iniquity with perfect hatred.
  4. Live a fasted life – It could be skipping meals.
  5. Worship God constantly.
  6. Be faithful in church.
  7. Serve God willingly.
  8. Respect your spiritual leaders.
  9. Be humble at all times.
  10. Say sorry quickly when you’re wrong.
  11. Keep your heart pure.
  12. Spend quiet time alone with God every day.
  13. Take time and study about the prophets in the Bible.
  14. Stay away from sexual sins.
  15. Pray for the miracle of open eyes.

Prophet Elisha gave an insight on how our eyes can be opened – PRAYER.

PRAYER POINTS

  1. Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Arise, open my eyes, in the name of Jesus.
  2. My spiritual eyes, open, in the name of Jesus.
  3. My spiritual ears, open, in the name of Jesus.
  4. Mantle of the prophet, fall on me now, in the name of Jesus.
