Topic: THE SCHOOL OF PRAYER & THE MINISTRY OF ANGELS
Text: Psalms 35:5, Hebrews 1:13-14, 7

Prayer is the greatest power God has given to man on this side of the universe. It is spiritual bombing. God can do everything that prayer can do. God respects violent prayer.

Prayer is when you spread your helplessness before God. It is deep. It is mysterious. So the person who can really pray has no problems.

The Bible says, “Pray without ceasing”. Prayer is not the preparation for the battle; it is the battle.

This brother was kidnapped, and they were moved into the deep forest. When he got there, he found so many people that had been kidnapped as well.

• It shall not be well with all kidnappers. It shall not be well with all ritual killers, in the name of Jesus.
• Anybody still planning to do it, may the angels of fire cut them off, in the name of Jesus.

He said that there were plenty of cars packed there. One of the car owners said, “My own is heart.” Another one said, “My own is kidney,” and another said, “My own is reproductive organ.” One person even mentioned that he wanted a baby in the womb. Apparently, they had kidnapped pregnant women too.

• I pray once again that the powers backing up these things shall begin to fail them now, in the name of Jesus.

So one by one, they were taking these kidnapped people to the high priest and slaughtering them. It remained a few minutes to get to this brother, so he began to pray.

As he started praying, they were making mistakes with the concoctions they were mixing. They too are very spiritual, so they knew that something was wrong. So they looked at the people that remained to be slaughtered and saw him talking.

They went to him and said, “Stop talking! Shut up your mouth!” So the brother kept quiet, and they continued the thing. The brother started praying in his heart, the kind of prayer we call “Wordless prayers”.

As he kept praying, they started making mistakes again. They had evil spiritual powers, and so they went back to Brother and said, ‘Mr. Man, that thing we said you should stop saying, you are saying it in your mind. Stop saying it in your mind.” He then said he remembered the words of Esther, who said, “If I perish, I perish,” and he blew out in tongues.

There was confusion in the place, and he ran off. An angel took his hand and brought him out, and he found himself close to the main road at Ore Road. This was somebody who was picked up in Lagos.

So the awesomeness of the power of prayer, the modern-day man does not really understand. I am here today to teach you one prayer. But what we are saying is this: prayer is so powerful.

Prayer:

• Can uproot.
• Can disable
• Can revive.
• Can reconstruct.
• Can resurrect.
• Can demolish.
• Can abolish.
• Can dismantle.
• Can terminate.
• Can kill.
• Can reverse.
• Can fast forward.
• Can reorganise.
• Can plant.
• Can build.
• Can destroy.
• Can recover.
• Can pursue, overtake and recover all.
• Can pull down.
• Can create
• Can recreate
• Can rebrand.
  -Can repackage.
• Can isolate.
• Has no respect for geographical distances.
• Can elevate.
• Can demote.
• Can reveal.
• Can decode.
• Can constitute
• Can reconstitute
• Can construct
• Can deconstruct.
• Can sanitise.
• Can authorise.
• Can judge.
• Can aquit
• Can bury
• Can mesmerise
• Can approve
• Can disapprove
• Can divide
• Can arrest
• Can paralyse.

The prayer that we want to study a little bit about is a prayer you should hold very tight and make it part of your prayers.

Psalms 35:5 (KJV) says: “Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.”

Hebrews 1:13-14 (KJV) says: “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

Angels are ministering spirits for us. If you do not utilise the advantage, it is not the fault of heaven. It is either the fault of your ignorance or not knowing how to activate the angels of God on your behalf.

Hebrews 1:7 (KJV) says, “And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.”

1. Prayer is awesome and deep.
2. Angels are ministering spirits. Whether you know how to activate them or not is another problem.

This is why I want somebody here who wants uncommon breakthroughs to raise up both hands and shout this loud and clear:

• Angels of my breakthroughs, where are you? Appear, in the name of Jesus.

Angels:

• are spiritual beings created by God.
• are spirits.
• exist in the spiritual realm.
• are immortal; they do not die like humans.

Our problem is that our brains and mindset are that the angels have to be white men with wings. No, the person sitting beside you could be an angel, but you do not know. That is why some people entertained angels unawares in the Bible. If somebody entertained angels unawares in the Bible, that means that the angel did not bring wings, did not look white, and did not look like a giant—he looked normal.

I want to pray this prayer. Your amen will show whether you are serious or not.

• Any power that wants you to miss your angel of blessings, with a sevenfold amen, bury them now, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).
• Any power that wants your angel of breakthroughs to pass you by, to walk past your house, I bury them now, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).

Angels are messengers of God. They have outstanding intelligence. They are very powerful. A single one can destroy thousands of soldiers. I want you to understand this very well. There are different categories of these angels. There are some angels called messenger angels. They just carry messages from God and deliver them. One angel is Angel Gabriel.

He went to Zechariah and said, “Your prayer has been heard.” “Your wife Elizabeth shall have a son.” He brought a message from God. He is a messenger angel.

There is another group of angels we call warriors, the fighting angels, military angels. An example was Michael. The Bible says, “Michael and his angels fought.” They are fighters.

• May angels fight for you, in the name of Jesus.

Then there are worshippers. One of them is Lucifer. Lucifer was the first choir master in heaven, in charge of worship. It is a category of angels.

There are some angels too. We call them “enforcement angels” to ensure that that thing must happen.

And there is another group of angels. We call them “deliverance angels”.

They go and remove men from bondage.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CHASE SOMEBODY? It is:

• To follow somebody closely.
• To follow somebody relentlessly.
  -To approach somebody with determination to catch the person.
• To hunt after.
• To pursue in order to confront.
• To follow with urgency.

The angels of God can be a divine chaser if you ask them to do so. They are ministering spirits. They will not act if you keep quiet. “Let the angels of the Lord chase them.” That is what the psalmist says. Those angels of God represent divine enforcement. When you cry out and God assigns an angel,

• battle reverses,
• the chasers become the chased,
• the hunters become the hunted.

There are moments when you can stop fighting or God begins to chase your enemies. The angel of God begins to pursue them aggressively. The angel of God will deny them rest. The angel of God will drive them out of your occupied territory. The angel of God will overtake them.

So what David was praying for here is a prayer for reversal: “Those who are chasing me, let the angels of God chase them. Those who are chasing me, let heaven chase them.”

Can you raise up your right hand? These words I just said now. I want it cried out 10 times.

• Those who are chasing me, let heavens chase them!

When heavens chase them:

• The hunter becomes the hunted.
• The pursuer becomes the pursued.
• The oppressor becomes restless.

Beloved, imagine somebody being chased by a lion. They cannot stop. They cannot rest. They cannot sleep. They cannot eat. They cannot regroup.

This is what happens when God assigns an angel to chase an enemy. They lose peace. The enemies lose peace. They lose coordination. They lose stability when God assigns an angel to chase them.

And you know angels; the way they operate is very strict. They are very, very strict. They operate God’s assignment like robots.

God told the Israelites and said, “Behold, I send my angels ahead of you.” But be careful. Do not provoke him. Because if you provoke him, he will not pardon.”

So when angels begin to chase the enemy, confusion enters their camp. Internal division begins among them. Their plans collapse suddenly. Fear replaces confidence. They will abandon you; they are attacking. Their leadership will be fractured. Remember what happened to the Egyptians chasing Israel.

In Exodus 14, there was divine confusion. When angels chase your enemies, the plan of your enemy will scatter. The angels block every attack of the wicked. They will disturb the strategies of those who are planning against you. They will be causing confusion among your enemies.

The chasing angels will prevent them from achieving their goal. The chasing angels fight the battles that you cannot see. They frustrate every plan of the oppressor.

The chasing of the angels will weaken their influence, and the angels will ensure that their evils do not prosper against you.

• May confusion enter the camp of your enemies.
• May their secret meeting scatter.
• May their strategy collapse.
• May their confidence collapse.
• Let them unite to fight themselves.
• Let helpers be withdrawn from your enemies.
• Let their financial backing dry up.
• Let sleep leave them.
• Let their words contradict each other.
• Let their courage melt away.
• Let their counsel become foolishness.
• Let their weapons malfunction, in the name of Jesus.
• Let their traps catch themselves.
• Let public shame begin to replace their secret boasting.
• Let opportunities close before them.
• Let all their lies lose credibility.
• Let their evil network scatter.
• Let darkness cover their paths.
• Let peace leave their camp.
• Let their path become slippery.
• Let their incantations fail.
• Let their curses reverse, in the name of Jesus. (a tenfold amen).

WHY DID THE PSALMIST USE THE AGGRESSIVE PRAYER POINTS? It was because:

• he wanted strong divine intervention.
• he wanted urgency and divine protection.
• he wanted to prevent the enemy from having rest. No rest. How can you rest when a lion is pursuing you? If you set an angel to go and chase them out of a witchcraft coven, when the witches come back from that coven, their peace is gone.
• to show God that his need is serious and to stop the spiritual attacks immediately.

WHEN CAN WE PRAY THIS KIND OF PRAYER?

• When you are being tormented in your dreams. Pray the prayer.
• When there are blockages and embargoes to your progress. Pray this prayer so that the embargo makers will have no rest.
• When you feel oppressed spiritually and emotionally.
• When the enemy tries to stop your progress, and you are sick of feeling weak.

That is why Psalm 35:6’s “Let the angel of God chase them” is a seriously effective and acidic prayer. And that verse in Psalm 35:6 is teaching us so many lessons. It is teaching us that:

• God will fight for his people where they cannot fight for themselves.
• angels are real. They work for God. They are ministering spirits that we can activate.
• God sees enemies even when they hide.
• angels carry out God’s decision.
• prayer can send angels into action.
• we can decide that evil people will have no rest.
• God can confuse enemies, and God does not allow the enemy to continue forever.
• angels have real power, and they are messengers of God.

SO TAKE THIS PRAYER AWAY FROM HERE TODAY AND ADD IT TO YOUR CONSTANT PRAYER THAT:

• Lord, let your angels pursue my enemies day and night.
• O Lord, send your angels to chase away every evil force attacking me.
• O Lord, let your angels identify and pursue every evil power assigned against me.
• O Lord, release your angels to scatter those plotting against my progress.
• O Lord, let your angels pursue the stubborn pursuers.
• O Lord, let your angels pursue and overtake all my adversaries in the name of Jesus.

These are prayers. If you do not remember all of them, remember, “Let the angels of God chase them.” And when he chases them, the other verse will happen: “Let them have no peace and no night.” We can say,

• O Lord, dispatch your angels to frustrate every evil agenda of my enemy.
• O Lord, let your angels bring confusion into the camp of all my enemies.
• O Lord, let your angels silence and confuse every monitoring spirit.
• O Lord, let your angels uproot every evil plantation against me.
• O Lord, let your angels pursue those resisting my breakthroughs.
• O Lord, let your angels scatter and pursue every witchcraft operation targeted at me.
• O Lord, let your angels pursue every power delaying my blessings.

These are prayers that you can pray, and you should add them to your prayer list this year. “Lord, let your angels chase my enemies. Let the angel of the Lord pursue them, chase them day and night.”

5. Arrows fired into my life from witchcraft markets, backfire in the name of Jesus.
