Topic: PRAYERS TO MOUNT UP

Text: Isaiah 40:28-31

“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

 

*As many as your spirit is telling you that you are not where you are suppose to be, as these prayers start, pray very well

 

• For many of us to changes levels, we need Eagle Prayers. Prayers to mount up.

 

* Many are not aware of the eagle prayers and many haven’t prayed the eagle prayers

 

• There are two birds.

1. Chicken

2. Eagle

 

Both are very similar but actually different. They are different as the day and night

 

CHICKENS

– Chickens put their heads downward

– They eat from the dustbin

 

===> I pronounce the wrath of God upon any powers that wants you to eat from the dustbin, in the name of Jesus

 

– They look for worms

 

===> May you not look for worms, in the name of Jesus

 

– They start looking for corns

– They work very hard to get a meal

 

===> I decree, that the anointing of a chicken in anyone’s life shall be destroyed, in the name of Jesus

 

EAGLES

– It actions are strange

– He lifteth its head in the sky

– His search eyes searching and piercing in the sky

– Seeing the eagle mounting up is an interesting sight

 

• The mounting process is important and necessary for the sons of God eventually if you are to be caught in the rapture

 

• If you fail to fulfill your destiny, and there are other destiny attached to your life, God will require theirs from you. If you fail to mount up like eagle and there are others mounting up attached to your life, God will require that from you.

 

• Mounting up is to conform to the image of the sons of God. That is why you should destroy the idols in your heart

 

• You must decide as believer, which one you want to belong to among these two birds.

 

CHARACTERISTICS OF A CHICKEN

1. Chicken keeps their eyes on things of this world

2. They never lift their head to see He who is from above

3. The chicken will eat dead things and unspeakable things

4. They are bound with their existence

 

CHARACTERISTICS OF AN EAGLE

1. The eagle has to be happy in life

2. It is not the nature of the eagle to mingle with majority

3. The eagle is very discipline

4. It looks at the sun and if he tries to make his children look and they refused, he drop them dead on the rock

5. An eagle person will refuse not to go beyond their limitations

 

EAGLE PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE

1. Enoch

2. Elijah

3. Joseph

 

The question is:

1. Do you want to an eagle Christian or a chicken Christian?

 

FACTS ABOUT THE EAGLE

1. The eagle is a very rare bird

 

===> I prophesy into your life, your breakthrough shall surprise your friends and shall shock your enemies and make them open their mouths in wonders, in the name of Jesus

 

PRAY: My Father, make me a mysterious wonder, in the name of Jesus

 

2. The eagle is the king of the birds

 

===> I prophesy into your life, you shall be the king over your circumstances, you shall rule in the midst of your enemies, in the name of Jesus

 

PRAY: Power to terrify the enemy, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus

 

3. The eagle can ascend to an amazing height. So, we call the eagle highflier

 

• It is one thing to fly but the eagle is different. Pigeons fly, sometimes duck fly, but when we talk about the flying of the eagle, it is different

 

• The ancient people call the eagle the bird of heaven

 

SING:

– I am going higher, yes I am

Going with Jesus to stay,

I am going above the shadows,

Into the presence of God,

Into the presence of Jesus,

I am going higher to stay
