Topic: DIVINE FAVOUR (2)
Text: Luke 2:52, 1:26–30

We continue our message on divine favour that we started last week.

Luke 2:52 (KJV) “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

This is about Jesus. And in Luke 1:26, we read about the mystery that Mary decoded here.

Luke 1:26-29 (KJV) “And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.”

Luke 1:30 (KJV) “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.”

Something had happened. Mary had found favour with God.

Let anyone here who desires to have favour with God shout a three fold loud amen!

It is favour that announces your own celebration while others are disgraced. Favour does that for you. Favour can suspend natural laws in order to favour you. It has the ability and power to command people’s attention on you to make you noticeable where no one else is. Favour makes you a source of wonder. People wonder how you got to where you got to.

When you have divine favour,

• Every good thing you touch prospers.
• You open up gates of blessing upon your life.
• People begin to see you in a better light when you have the favour of God upon your life.

One minute of favour can make you forget all your past pain.

Favour:-

• Is to be divinely honoured.
• Is making an ordinary man to become an extraordinary person.
• Converts your obstacles into miracles.
• makes God come to an ordinary man and shares His secrets with you.
• Is like a spiritual capital for advancement.
• Will immunise you from wastage by the enemy.
• Engineers productive performance.
  With favour,
• God fights your battle and stations you as a spectator.

God will grant you access into the mysteries that rule this world.

Favour enables a man or woman to soar above contrary circumstances.

Favour is what you can call “divine lubrication,” heavenly support, or heavenly sustenance.

Favour has nothing to do with the economy anywhere. It goes above that.
It is favour that supplies creative wisdom to somebody to tower above his colleagues and contemporaries. With favour, God promotes you well above others. You become God’s favourite person.

With favour, God bestows privileges upon you. He confers honour upon you. Therefore, beloveth, prayer about favour is not something you take lightly. If that is what Mary, who never worked any miracles, opened any church, preached to anybody, found favour, and is great among women, then you must know that favour is an instrument and something we must desire.

Favour will make heavens open to you all the time, irrespective of your circumstances. It will make you obtain gracious kindness. You have heaven making effort on your behalf.

We prayed about the God of Esther just now. What Esther found is just pure favour. A slave became a queen, just like that. It is favour!

Favour makes you have an advantage over others. You obtain divine defence. Beloveth, favour has power. With favour, spiritual bondages break.

But then, when there is no favour, it is indeed a serious problem. When there is no favour, there will be:

• Constant disappointment.
• Closed doors.
• Hardship and struggles.
• Bad luck.
• Profitless hard work and labour: working like an elephant, eating like an ant.
• Testimony famine.
• Persistent setbacks.
• Persistent sicknesses and diseases.
• Constant reproach.
• Promise and fail syndrome. It is evident that the person is not in favour.
  -Constant failure.
• Lack of helpers.
• Closed heavens.
• Demotion.
• Delay and stagnancy
• Frustration. All these are marks of disfavour.
• Working hard without results.
• Constant lack: always begging.
• Hatred and rejection. It shows lack of favour.
• Absence of good opportunities.

So wherever you are, in whatever field you find yourself, you need divine favour. Have you noticed a trend or backwardness? Favour will reverse it.

Did you notice spiritual embargo? Are you suffering from constant embarrassment? Always borrowing? Always in financial debt? Loss of happiness? Nakedness and affliction? They are all signs of disfavour.

When it seems as if the whole of life is very cruel to you and it seems as if everything is upside down, nobody cares what happens to your life; you have those who want to suck you dry but never those who want to bless you. It is a sign of disfavour. Constant depression means the person is always experiencing delay; it is disfavour.

I want you to make up your mind on this second day of these three days of meetings that you want to enter into 2024 with the mantle of favour.

There is a purpose for the mantle you are bringing here. It was a mantle that fell upon Elisha, and he became a mighty prophet. It was the same mantle that was in the hand of Elisha, and he divided the Jordan so he could pass.

With this mantle in your hand, may the anointing of uncommon favour envelope your life! In the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS.

Prayers on the mantle.

1. Any altar receiving sacrifices against me, catch fire! In the name of Jesus.
2. Every incantation speaking against my head, backfire! In the name of Jesus.
3. O God of Esther, break every evil judgement keeping me in one place! In the name of Jesus.
4. Holy Ghost Fire, paralyse the backbone of my enemies! in the name of Jesus.
5. Any power saying “NO” to my shining, die! In the name of Jesus.
6. Every gathering of witchcraft, cooking my name, scatter! In the name of Jesus.
7. Every stargazer looking into my star to pull me down, go blind! In the name of Jesus.
8. Every enemy standing between me and my testimonies, scatter! In the name of Jesus.
9. (Pray this three hot times while raising the mantle up) Any poison in my body, dry up now! In the name of Jesus.

[After Message]
(Pray the Hannah kind of prayer. Tell the Lord what you still want to happen before the year comes to an end.)

1. Heavenly deliverance, locate me by fire! In the name of Jesus.
2. Holy Ghost Fire, convert my delay to speed! In the name of Jesus.
3. Resurrection power, let my dry bones come alive! In the name of Jesus.
4. (Pray this three hot times) Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Arise, give me testimonies that will mock my enemies! In the name of Jesus.
