Topic: NEUTRALISING SATANIC PRAYERS (3)
Text: Luke 4:34; 22:31.

You will recall that we read from Luke 22:31 where Jesus told Peter, “Simon, Simon, behold Satan desires to have you and sift you like wheat,….” And it is a dangerous procedure to sift wheat. It is a painful procedure for the wheat.

Sometimes they put it on the ground, and people are just stamping on it. So the satanic prayer was to sift Peter as wheat. But thank God, there was a counter prayer by Jesus, who said, “…. But I have prayed for thee.” Peter would have been wasted if not for that prayer.

Then we went into Mark 5 about the story of the mad man of Gadara, where Jesus asked the demons to leave the man. 6,000 demons in one man were making the man dwell among the dead. You know that the devil is wickedly wicked and badly bad. He kept this man in the grave.

When Jesus addressed those spirits, they started praying:

1. Torment us not.
2. Leave us here in this country.
3. Send us into the pigs.

They prayed to Jesus. Then we started to look at satanic prayers, or more appropriately, in deliverance terminology; dark prayers.

They are:

• prayers inspired by the enemy.
• prayers carrying satanic anointing.
• prayers outside the will of God.
• occultic prayers.
• witchcraft prayers.
• prayers by satanists.
• prayers that are not in line with the word of God.

And we defined these prayers in our teachings in the last two weeks. We also looked at Luke 4:34, which is very revealing. They said to Jesus:

Luke 4:34 (KJV): “Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.”

So they knew they could be destroyed. In the synagogue and temple, the people did not know Him, but the demons knew Him. We also read about Balaam, who was hired to curse the children of Israel with seven altars, seven bullocks, and seven rams.

And like I decreed the last time, I decree again today that any power engaging seven altars, seven bullocks, and seven rams against your destiny and against your life shall die, in the name of Jesus. (a seven-fold amen).

We then began to look at different types of these satanic prayers:

1. There is the prayer of “torment me not”. It means “leave me alone to punish them” or “do not let us leave this country”. This is the first category of demonic prayers.
2. Then comes the second class of these evil prayers, which is the prayer of a sinner. An occultic man who is praying for you in the name of Jesus is not praying for you at all. The positive confession of a witch or occultic parent is negative and opposite in the spirit world.
3. Then we went to the third class of these evil prayers, which are curses issued against people. There are some religions that are religions of curses. And curses have put so many people in disarray. I pointed out to you that if you look at the Bible, when Peter said Jesus should not go to the cross and when Goliath was cursing David, the reaction of these two recipients was aggressive; they did not keep quiet.
4. The fourth class of satanic prayers is what some people know as horoscopes. That is, they want to know what your star is saying. Somebody says to you, “Bring your hand,” and you take your hand to the person, and he or she begins to interpret the lines on your palms and says, ‘This line is crossed by three other lines. This line means marriage. These three lines that cross it mean that your first, second, and third husbands will die,” and you leave your palm there; that is satanic prayer.

There is only one voice that has overruling power over anything the enemy is saying, which is the overruling voice of God. That is why the Bible says, ‘Even the lawful captives shall be delivered…’ That is, you have a right to be in that bondage. You caused the trouble, and now you are in it. So the enemy is lawfully punishing you. But the Bible says even that lawful captive shall be delivered.

I was in the UK in 1985. There is a place in London called Hammersmith. When I got there, I saw a long queue of people. I was wondering the reason for the queue. Then I saw an Indian woman at the front.

She was reading their palms and saying, “This line is long life, but you can see that yours is not touching down. It means you will not live long….” and they stood there, nodding their heads. I went to the front of the queue and said to all of them, “Leave this place! You are all cursing yourselves”. But they turned on me like a wild lion and said, “Mind your business!” So I went away. Those horoscopes are satanic prayers. They used to put it in newspapers in those days and write, “This is your star; you are this and that,” and people read it on their own lives.

I decree upon the life of anyone here: if you have ever ignorantly said amen to any satanic prayers, we withdraw that amen now, in the name of Jesus. (a tenfold amen).

So those of you reading what your star is saying, they group people and their stars according to their months. You are ignorantly cursing yourself.

5. The fifth class of satanic prayers is lucky charms. You put it on your neck or your body to show goodwill or favour. Beloveth, there is nothing like lucky charms. What you have is an object to hand you over to satanic police dogs. So they will keep sniffing you everywhere you go. They will give you small successes, and you will think it is working. There is a minister of the gospel who got born again and began to minister. He would pray for salvation, and there would be salvation. He would pray for healing, and there would be healing.

But anytime he confronted deliverance and demonic powers, they would face him squarely and say, “We are not going anywhere.” He had gone to minister somewhere, and those demonic powers embarrassed him. When he said, “Get out, in the name of Jesus,” they said, “Shut up!”. He went into prayer and asked God, “Why is it that when I confront these powers, they always embarrass me?” The Lord said, “You should have asked me since. It has been happening for 7 years, and you are just speaking up. Now, how many wives does your father have?”

He replied, ‘three’. The Lord asked, “Is your mother number one?” He said ‘no.’ “Is she number 2?” He replied ‘no’. The Lord continued, “Number 3?” He said ‘yes’. The Lord asked again, “Number one wife, does she have a male child?” He replied, ‘No’. The Lord said, “What of wife number two?” He said, ‘No.’ Then God asked again, “What of wife number three?” He replied, ‘Yes, Lord, I am the only male child of my mother.’

The Lord said, “You see, your mother, knowing that she is in the midst of witches, prepared a charm for you when you were young, and you wore that charm on your neck till you were 14. Can you remember?” He said ‘yes, Lord’. The Lord said, “That charm automatically handed you over to satanic guiding spirits to guide your life. So this is why the enemy is embarrassing you. When you say go away, they laugh and say, ‘go ke? Are those not our members beside you?’”

I am praying for anyone here: If you have any follow-follow spirit that you do not know about, that is stealing from you, shaking away your blessings, and making sure you do not win your battles, with a tenfold amen, kill them now, in the name of Jesus. (a ten-fold amen).

I was in Ghana many years ago. A mother brought her child for prayers. They said he was having epilepsy. But the epilepsy does not operate except in the examination hall. During football, no problem. Jumping about, sleeping, no problem, but immediately he gets to the exam hall, and they say, “You can start!” The epilepsy, too, starts. Very strange infirmity. So, I wanted to start praying. But the Lord said, “Look at the chain around his neck. It must be taken out and destroyed.” I said to her, “Mummy, what is this chain?”

She said a native doctor gave it to him when he was little and said that it must never be taken off or else he will die. I said, “Take it off.” She said ‘nooo.’ Then she was trying to drag the boy away. But our pastors persuaded her and said, “Listen to the man of God.” She said while crying, ‘If anything happens to this boy today, this man who came from Nigeria is in trouble.’ I said, “Take it off and give it to me.” It was a necklace with a pendant hanging on it in the shape of a heart. So I gave it to a pastor to break it. When he broke it and opened it, inside that thing was written, “I love Satan.”

I am praying for somebody here today: anything your parents have put you into in their ignorance to protect you, thereby handing you over to police dogs, receive your deliverance, in the name of Jesus.

6. Class number 6 of these evil prayers is spitting on people. They spat on you? Spitting on someone is a prayer of disdain, making the person an object of disdain. I was in class with a boy from Nigeria when I was doing my PhD. He made a first class in Nigeria and got a scholarship to study abroad. He went overseas and did not understand anything in class.

This was surprising because this was his field; he made a first class in it, and first class holders from Nigeria are respected all over the world. But he was always blank. Then he said to me, “Excuse me, sir, I heard you pray for people. Pray for me even though I am a Muslim.” We started praying, then the Lord said, “Ask him what his grandmother did to him when he was travelling to England.” So I asked him.

He said, “Yes, when I was travelling, everybody was praying for me. When it got to my grandma, she asked for my palm, spat into it, and asked me to rub it together and rub it on my head, and I did.” That was the result. Did anybody ever spit on you? Or has a bird flying ever passed faeces on you? All those things mean the same thing. It is a prayer of disdain and rejection, converting the person to a satanic dustbin or dunghill.

I am praying that if there is anybody like that here this morning, receive your deliverance in the name of Jesus.

7. The seventh class of these evil prayers is evil people chanting people’s names. You may find this difficult to believe, but there is a class of satanic occultic men that do not see the sun. They are in darkness every day. Sometimes they could be more than 500 in a place, but they are heavily paid for the evil assignment they have.

So if somebody is against you at your place of work, or if you are a politician and somebody is against you, all they need to do is pay them millions of money and give them your name.

These men, who remain in darkness all day, will be chanting the name of the person. “This man must fail.” “This man must die.” “This woman must leave that marriage.” “This man must summersault.” And they keep saying the particular statement until somebody phones and says it is enough, then they are paid their balance. There are people like that, even though it is difficult to believe.

I am praying for somebody here: If anybody is sitting on a mat, hiding somewhere, and doing satanic vigils to pull you down, to confuse you, to steal from you, with a 21-fold amen, let them die on their mat, in the name of Jesus.

8. The next class is the consultation of magical books, either by yourself, on your behalf, or against you. Plenty of people have terrible books at home, and those books are available everywhere. To make matters worse, those books are now available online. If you search for magical prayers to destroy your enemies, you will find them online. They will tell you what to do. They may say, “Wake up at midnight, take off all your clothes, put your head upside down, and take a feather. Use this candle. Do this, do that.”.

They are satanic prayers. And do not deceive yourself into thinking that you do not have satanic business partners, work colleagues, or people who light candles against you. They light candles against people in different colours, which stand for different things, and wait for the candles to be extinguished. They want to remove a man’s joy, and they know which candle colour to use. They are all over the place. So those are evil prayers.

If you have ever read Acts 19, the Bible says that after Paul preached in Ephesus, he asked them to bring their magical books and books of curious acts.

Paul set fire to them. So these sorts of books have been in existence; they are not new. They are books that believers should not be using. To make matters worse, some people have published books on the magical use of Psalms and the Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses. Those are magical, esoteric, and demonic books.

Maybe you have read them before when you had issues. Maybe someone read it on your behalf, and now they are using it against you.

This is why your sevenfold amen has to be very loud now as I pray.

Any power consulting magical books against you shall expire, in the name of Jesus.

9. The next group of satanic prayers is what we all know very well in Africa. We call them incantations. What are incantations? It is just words to invite demons to come against you, to invite satanic assistance. That is why they will say it and then follow up with a command.

Today, every incantation against you, no matter how long they have been saying it, shall backfire, in the name of Jesus.

10. The next kind of satanic prayer is spells or hexes. They put a person under a spell. At that time, it would seem as though the person is a zombie and is lost. He gets confused.
11. The next one is an evil prophecy from satanic agents. Let me tell you one secret today, in case you do not know: there is no prophecy, whether from a good or evil source, that prayers cannot cancel. That is the truth. Even if the prophecy is coming from a good source but you do not like what he is saying about your life, do not get scattered or worried. Know that no matter what they are saying, prophecy, vision, or whatever they are seeing, prayers can cancel or reverse them.

Even God Himself might have decided that He wants to do something. But prayers can still make Him to change His mind. God told Jonah, “Go down to Nineveh; tell them that because of their sins, I will destroy them”. Jonah did not want to go. The decision to deal with Nineveh was God’s decision, not from Satan. And Jonah was a prophet of God. He did not want to go, and God was angry with him. God was so serious about the matter that He was ready to destroy everybody in that boat, together with Jonah, because he was there.

So you can see that those people must have really angered God for Him to want to destroy everybody due to Jonah’s disobedience. Thank God, the people in the boat were able to discover that Jonah was their problem. So they threw him into the sea and said, ‘Let his blood not be on our heads.” God prepared a fish to swallow Jonah. Jonah was standing in one position for three days. He could not brush his teeth, have a shower, and was urinating and defecating on his body in the position he was standing in the belly of the fish.

The enzymes inside the fish that digest its food began to digest the clothes on the skin of Jonah. For three days, he was there. And in the same place he did not want to go, the fish took him there and vomited him in Nineveh. When he landed in Nineveh, he preached like a madman. The Bible says he was going through the town and shouting, ‘In 40 days, Nineveh shall be destroyed’. The words were harsh. When the people of Nineveh saw this strange man with clothes almost gone walking through the streets, saying the place would be destroyed, the Bible says that they repented.

They started praying and fasting. They made their animals fast. When God saw what they were doing, God said, “Jonah, they are afraid. They will not do it again.” Therefore, if prayers can make God change His mind, how much more one witch doctor who is saying rubbish and nonsense? Somebody is prophesying something, and they are saying that whatever he says must come to pass, it can be reversed.

The awesome power of prayer is yet to be explained to this generation. If your name was to be on a list and it is not there, you can use prayer to tear away that list that does not have your name.

So they will have to bring up a fresh list that will have your name. A prayer warrior is the principal of the school of prophecy, vision, dream; no matter what they are. This is why the enemy does not want anyone praying. That is why you even see some preachers preaching against prayer. I have seen a preacher on TV preaching that there is nothing like a prayer warrior. In 1994, I was telling those in MFM, “Those who are laughing at MFM will soon start praying those prayers they are criticising.”

12. Finally, there is the prayer of the witch doctors, fake prophets, and their pronouncements. I do not know which church you have been to before. I do not know the prophets that are there. I do not know what they have prophesied upon your life, but I am just here to let you know that those prophecies are satanic prayers.

This morning, if you will take due diligence and pray from your heart, the ones you know about, the ones you do not know about, the Almighty will cancel them.

1. Negative prayers assigned against me, die in the name of Jesus.
2. Negative visions against my life; die in the name of Jesus.
3. Negative prophecy against my life, die in the name of Jesus.
4. Negative expectations, against my life, die in the name of Jesus.
5. Dark curses against my life; die in the name of Jesus.
6. Incantations of darkness against my life; die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Negative desire against my life; what are you waiting for? Die in the name of Jesus.
