Topic: WAR AGAINST DESTINY DIVERSION
Text: Acts 9:15, John 9:4

The first point I want you to understand is this: anytime God has an assignment to do, or something to carry out, the first thing He looks for is a man or a woman that He can use for that purpose. And so as you read your Bible from Genesis to Revelation, you begin to see one eternal principle which does not change: One man for a season, another man for another season. Everyone here tonight, you are in this world for a particular assignment and the earlier you locate that assignment, the better. But then there is a great problem: there is a diversion going on.

Acts 9:15 (KJV) says: “But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.”

That was the destiny of Paul. Jesus Himself in John 9:4 says:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”

Jesus knew what He was here to do. Your destiny is:

• God’s purpose for your life.
• the divine agenda for your life.
• The reason you were born.
• Why God created you and allowed you come to the earth.
• What God has written in His book concerning your life. Definitely there are things God has written concerning each life.
• What has been written in the records of heaven concerning your life. Heavens have records. Something has been written about you in those records.
• What God had in mind when He fashioned and sent you to this earth.

The Great Creator personally designed and made you the way you are. So in God’s sight, nobody is a washout or a failure because He himself is not a washout or a failure. So, no one is a dropout in the agenda of the Almighty. Whether you like it or not, every creation of the Almighty has a value and you are not inferior to anyone. You may be different, yes wonderfully different, but not inferior.

So you are God’s idea here on earth and God does not make mistakes. Therefore, if you now miss that destiny, the Bible says that it would have been better if the person was not born. Once you have a destiny, there are several other destinies attached to yours. This is why you cannot afford to fail. Until you arise, several people may not rise.

● This is why I prophesy upon your life now: Whether you like it or not, be catapulted to your next level: rise, in the name of Jesus.

So much for destiny diversion. A policeman was giving a testimony in court and he explained to the judge: “these boys arrested for stealing in the shop do not have weapons, they do not use weapons. They use a technique called diversion.” The judge replied “what do you mean?” He said again “my lord, many of them come into the shop. Half of them will start a fight and everybody rushes there to stop the fight. While that group is busy fighting, the other group steals whatever they want and walk out. When the first group sees that their group has stolen things and walk out, they stop fighting and walk out.” The shop owners will not know it is the same group.

So they remove the attention of the shop owners from them to someone else. Then they are able to do what they plan to do. To divert is to turn aside. Diversion is like a detour on the highway. Diversion is distraction from the main business. It is a manoeuver that draws your attention away from the main point of action. Unfortunately, many of us do not know that unto very man with a destiny, there is always a conspiracy in the spirit realm. To every man with a colourful destiny, there is always a rage from the bottom of hell fire. Beloveth, listen to me: If you see someone with a colourful destiny, the enemy will not leave him alone. Unto every Moses, there is a Pharaoh.

● If you are a moses here today and your Pharaoh is pursuing you, the Pharaoh shall die, in the name of Jesus.

Unto every Joseph, there is always a Potiphar’s wife who will say “come, lie with me.” But that young boy at the age of 17 said “No. How can I do this and offend God?” No wonder he was able to fulfil his own destiny. Unto every Elijah, there’s always an Ahab and a Jezebel. Unto every David, there is always a Goliath.

● If you are a David here today and there is a Goliath threatening your destiny, before you leave this gathering tonight, the Goliath shall be buried alive, in the name of Jesus.

I have explained to you about destiny. I have explained to you about diversion. Now, on war. Lack of understanding of the principles of spiritual warfare will always lead to destiny diversion. If there is no value in warfare, humans will not be teaching themselves the principles of warfare. The Military will not have war colleges. There in the war colleges, they teach principles of war because they know if you ignore it, defeat or destruction may follow because you do not understand war and if you do not know how to fight, the enemy will finish you. The principle is very simple: fight or perish.

In human warfare, they teach certain principles which they took from the Bible. They teach you that:

1. In war, you must always have an objective or reason for fighting.
2. In war, you must correctly identify the enemy. If you do not know who the enemy is, where he is, how he is planning and you are armed, your being armed is useless because you will direct your guns to the wrong places.
3. A defending army never wins any war. You have to be on the offensive. If you put 2 people in the boxing ring to fight, say 3 rounds of 3 minutes each and you say ‘start’ and they get to the ring and one of them just keeps defending his face and not throwing any blows, his opponent will knock him out. That is why we keep saying ‘the best defence is attack.’
4. You must concentrate your forces instead of scattering them all over.
5. Ensure that you are secured, that is, you must have intelligence report about the enemy on what he wants to do.
6. Use surprise as a weapon to attack suddenly without warning so that he will not know you are coming.
7. Do not allow the enemy to destroy your communication lines between you and your base. It means do not allow the enemy to break your hearing from God.

If you look at it, they are all from scriptures. A Christian without adequate knowledge about warfare is a prey or chewing stick in the mouth of the enemy. In the battle of life, you must fight. You must understand the powers governing life and fight back. You must fight to defend yourself. You must fight to take back what belongs to you. When you are facing a wicked enemy, he will use disguise to begin to divert your attention. He will bury a problem deep into the person’s body which will be causing problem on the outside. It is a great prayer when you say “my internal enemies, wither!”

Because many of us are looking for the enemy outside, but the enemy is already inside. There is a department in the kingdom of darkness called destiny destruction. It is from there they begin to divert people’s destinies. Many men and women who are supposed to be shakers and movers in this world have been diverted, right from that department. This is a very very sad thing. The enemy sometimes removes somebody from fire and puts the person inside smoke and the person will be unaware.

WHEN TO WAR AGAINST DESTINY DIVERTERS.

• As you are here tonight, if you find that with all the best you are puttng into life, all your input fails to get success.
• You find that things are happening to you that you cannot explain.
• You find that those you are better than are moving forward and you remain stagnant.
• You find that instead of going forward, you are going backwards, and those you are inferior to you are excelling and you are going down.
• All of a sudden, you find that you are losing your memory when you are not an old person.
• All of a sudden, you find that the husband you married many years ago when he had nothing now says to you “get out!” because he is rich now.
• You find yourself bring overshadowed by powers you cannot control. You are governed by powers contrary to your will.
• You are a very brilliant student but all of a sudden, you are becoming duller and duller.
• You find a normal obedient child is now becoming stubborn and disobedient.
• You find someone who was very rich now gradually turning poor and he is now selling off his properties.
• You can see that you have unreasonable moods and bad temper which causes you regular problems.
• You find that you have enslaving habits like sexual addiction.
• You are noticing sudden and periodic manifestation of problems.
• Some are never well during rainy season. There is even a particular religion where members always have problem during the month of May.
• You are praying but the trials have refused to come to an end.
  -You are having regular dreams of communication with the dead when the Bible says that the living has no business with the dead.
• A particular strange dream is always happening before you have a problem.
• You are being fed with what you do not even like in real life, in your dream.

We need to fight against destiny diverters. The toughest area of prayers when we are praying prayers like this, is the area when we need to challenge these powers. It must be done aggressively and tirelessly. You have to pray until faith is burning in your heart. If you are praying and your faith is still moving like banana leaf, better go back and pray. If the storm of doubt is still sufficient to toss your faith, better go back and pray. These are very serious issues. When you are ready to:

• fulfil your destiny,
• achieve your potential,
• depart from the school of aimless drifting through life,
• refuel to inner drive,
• determine your future and pursue it,
• locate who you really are,
• think hard about the qualities you want to develop and results you want to achieve in life,
• leave the bus stop of stagnation and move forward,
  Then you must be ready for a hot challenge.

These are the kind of prayers you pray and the enemy comes to you and asks “why are you praying these kinds of prayers?” and launches a counter attack. When you leave the enemy to work unmolested, then they will eventually truncate or paralyse your destiny.

What is the way out of this?

1. Become a friend of God. Know your God.
2. Know your enemy. Know that the enemy is wickedly wicked and badly bad.
3. Live a holy life.
4. Wage war against these destiny diverters.
5. Work on your weaknesses and terminate them. Work on yourself because you are your greatest asset. You are also your greatest detriment if you are not careful. I stand here tonight to lament seriously about plenty of people who are:

• human goldmines but no gold,
• Kings but no thrones,
• Managers but no business,
• landlords but no house.
  I am very sad that many believers are in that position, all because at one time or the other, a diversion has come and now the person is going after another thing and chasing shadows in the market square of life.

1. Every curse, assigned against my head: backfire, in the name of Jesus.
2. I fire back, every arrow of the enemy by fire, in the name of Jesus.

1. Strongman assigned to divert my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. I recover my destiny by fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Wicked powers planning to celebrate my defeat, run mad and die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Powers of Pharaoh, assigned to kill my laughter, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Powers assigned to recruit my children into witchcraft, your time is up: die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Witchcraft battles, waiting at the edge of my breakthroughs, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every seed of infirmity in my body, come out and die, in the name of Jesus.
8. Satanic market offering me for sale, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
9. Powers assigned to donate my blood to the coven, donate your own blood and die, in the name of Jesus.
10. Powers assigned to turn my destiny into a busy market, die, in the name of Jesus.
