Topic: THE TRAGEDY OF DOMESTIC WICKEDNESS
Text: Genesis 4:8, 37:23, 25-28, Numbers 12:1-2, Judges 15:9-12, 16:6, 2 Samuel 15:13-14, Job 2:9, Micah 7:6, Matthew 10:36
Minister: Dr. Daniel Olukoya (G.O. MFM Worldwide)

Recently on deliverance ground and from many people crying for total deliverance that should be of concern to any minister interested in solution evangelism, it is worrisome that when prayers get to a level, you find mothers, fathers, and grandfathers speaking from the mouths of the people prayed for. They shout things like “Man of God! What is your business?” “She is my daughter!” “Leave her alone!” “Stop praying!”

● I am praying for anyone listening to me here this morning: If there is any power anywhere trying to mock your prayers, with a sevenfold amen, they must die, in the name of Jesus.

I was in a city called New York, praying with a young girl who had never visited Nigeria. She was born there, but she had a lot of trouble. When prayers got to a level, all of a sudden, this girl who does not speak or understand Yoruba started speaking pure Ilesha dialect. I asked the parents where they are from, and they replied, “from Ilesha.”

The parents were very surprised because, according to them, “this girl cannot speak normal Yoruba language.”. The father then listened closely and said, “This voice is the voice of my mother.”

When you talk about domestic wickedness, domestic witchcraft, and household witchcraft, it is deeper than those still alive. Some in charge of people’s cases are dead, but before they died, they had done wickedness, and it is part of what we are addressing.

This is why when God in His mercy wants to help a person, He begins to show the person dreams of dead relatives who have affected the person. What the person should do at that time is to raise up an aggressive prayer altar saying,

“Anything any dead relative has done wrong in my life, let them be corrected now, in the name of Jesus.” There has also been a recent increase in claims by little girls that their fathers are sleeping with them, and now their lives have been messed up. That father is household wickedness.

There are some who come from swallowing households. Once they share their testimony, it dies. If any good thing wants to happen to them and they share it with any family member, it dies. So directly or indirectly, there is household wickedness.

There is household wickedness by association. You are living your life gently, but somebody in the family goes to look for trouble, which is now affecting the whole family. If your father or mother is committing iniquity, it will definitely flow back to the family. Achan in the Bible put the whole of his family in trouble. His children and wife were innocent, but Achan became household wickedness.

All those fathers and grandfathers joining secret societies constitute household wickedness troubling the lives of those living now. Many are struggling with that now. So the issues of domestic wickedness are very deep. It is not just a case of “a witch in my family is troubling me.” It is a lot deeper than that. Many people have case files transferred from coven to coven.

So when they run from one witch doctor to another, their case file is transferred. Now, we will look at some scriptures very carefully.

Today is the start of this programme and I honestly do not know when we will stop until the Holy Spirit says so. But a lot of uncommon and mysterious breakthroughs are attached to this matter. Only do something: do everything you want to do with violent spiritual anger.

In Genesis 4, let us see how it started in scriptures.

Genesis 4:8 (KJV) says: “And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.”

The first household wickedness in scripture was Cain. You see, the spirit of that Cain is still troubling mankind to this day.

One day, a young man came to see me at the headquarters. He cried bitterly. It is a long time since I have seen a young man cry bitterly like that. He cried bitterly in Yoruba. He said, “G.O., this very good lady is dead.” I asked, “Who died?” He replied that it was his wife.

They got married one year before. But within one year of marrying that woman, his life changed. The woman was so innovative that within one year, they were already building three houses together. All of a sudden, the woman screamed the name of her father-in-law from her dream, and she died.

I asked what happened, and he said that three weeks prior to the death of that woman, his own father called a family meeting and said, “None of you must be greater than me. Anybody who tries it will die.” He then turned to this brother and said, “Now, warn that your wife to cool down and slow down. If not, she is gone.”.

The brother was not a member of MFM, and he did not know how to address it. That was how his wife died.

This is why I want you to shout this tenfold loud amen with the loudest voice you can gather as I make this declaration. Even if you do not think you have a Cain, still pray the prayer. It is safer to overpray than to underpray.

● Any spirit of Cain in any family gathered here today, any spirit of Cain in any life gathered here today: let that spirit of Cain die today, in the name of Jesus.

Genesis 37:23 (KJV) says: “And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;”

They cast their brother into the pit, and they sat down to eat bread and to celebrate that their brother was gone.

● I am praying for someone here today: Every witchcraft celebration against any life here, let their celebration turn to sorrow, in the name of Jesus.

Genesis 37:25-26 (KJV) tells us: “And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?”

So the agenda to throw him into the pit was stage one. They still planned to kill him. They said, “Let us kill him and see what becomes of his dreams.”.

● Any power saying, “Let us kill him and see what becomes of his dreams,” “Let us see what becomes of his destiny”, let the powers die, in the name of Jesus.

Genesis 37:27 (KJV) says, “Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.”

“….for he is our brother and our flesh….” Did they not know he was their brother before?

Genesis 37:28 (KJV) says: “Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.”

Domestic wickedness.

Numbers 12:1-2 (KJV) says, “And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.”

The parents of Moses had three children: Aaron the first, Míriam, and then Moses. So those contesting with Moses and speaking against him were his sister and brother. Domestic wickedness.

That is why I said that the enemy is already inside the lives of many while they are looking for the enemy outside.

The story is told of a great wall that surrounded a city. The wall was strong and impenetrable. So the enemies gave up because it felt impossible to break into. The only one time they penetrated the wall was when they bribed the guard at the gate. The internal enemy opened the door for the external one.

Judges 15:9-12 (KJV) says, “Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi. And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us. Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them. And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.”

It was the people of Samson that bound him and handed him over to the enemy.

● I am praying right now: If there is anyone here that has been bound and handed over to the enemy, receive your deliverance now.

Samson had married a wife, and she was a domestic wickedness.

Judges 16:6 (KJV) says, “And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.”

What kind of wife is this that wanted to afflict her husband? Eventually, she finished Samson. This is a very serious matter, and I want you to understand it very well.

I want you to know that this matter is in scriptures; it is a very serious matter.

2 Samuel 15:13-14 (KJV) says, “And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom. And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.”

This was David’s son Absalom that has now developed into domestic wickedness. The father now had to run.

Job 2:9 (KJV) says, “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.”

Job’s wife said he should curse God and die so he could get out of the way. Wickedness of the highest order. If you go back into scripture and begin to look at this, you will be amazed at the kind of attention the Bible gave to this.

Micah 7:6 (KJV) says: “For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.”

Jesus reiterates this very clearly in Matthew 10:36 – ‘And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.’

Listen to these important statements before we start praying now:

  1. The enemy holds onto any ground he has taken from you before your salvation unless you take it from him.
  2. Some may feel that our prayer and warfare are too bold and too loud, but war is always noisy. Bombs are never quiet. War is never quiet. When Jesus faced the tomb of Lazarus, he cried with a loud voice. It was not a quiet prayer.
  3. There are surface problems that you solve easily, and they are gone with a few minutes of prayers. But there are also deep problems.
  4. The best way to escape from a problem is to solve it.
  5. Problems can never be solved at the level of the awareness that created them. You need a higher level to deal with it.
  6. The only place where there is escape from problems is the grave, and that is if you are even a child of God. If you die as an unbeliever, your problem has just started.
  7. Some problems cannot be solved, not because people cannot see the solution, but because they cannot see the problem. Avoiding a problem cannot solve it.

Very soon, some uncompromising, aggressive, crude prayers will start. Those are the kinds of prayers needed.

Someone said, “Some people died not because they fired arrows into them, but because they saw who fired the arrows.”

This morning, we have work to do here.

PRAYER POINTS.

  1. Serpents and scorpions in my family line, die in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).
  2. Lion of Judah, roar: tear my enemies to pieces in the name of Jesus.
  3. Powers that want me to fail, you are liars: die, in the name of Jesus.
  4. Powers draining my glory, you are liars: die, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Arise, laugh against my enemies, in the name of Jesus.
  6. My Father, snatch my laughter away from every dark power in the name of Jesus.
  7. Powers assigned to hold me down inside the valley, lose your hold, in the name of Jesus.
  8. Satanic investment inside my family, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
  9. Pharaoh, Herod, and Goliath, in my family line, die in the name of Jesus.
  10. Mountains confronting my destiny, hear the Word of the Lord: scatter, in the name of Jesus.
